Our Name, FireFin, Comes from the Word Lionfish (Pterois Volitans). The Lionfish is a Non-Native Species to Our Florida Waters. With its Poisonous Fins (FireFin) and Without any Natural Predators, the Lionfish Has Had a Negative Impact on Our Natural Marine Life and Ecosystems. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Encourages All Divers, Anglers and Commercial Harvesters to Remove this Invasive Species.

This was a true disappointment. We’ve never experienced anything like this… The chef came up to us and introduced himself as a “Michelin star chef” and told us he is friends with Gordon Ramsey. We ordered 3 steaks and asked them to be cooked medium. Two of the steaks arrived beyond well done, very dry and chewy. The other steak (which was a filet mignon) was so rare it was basically blue. The chef remade our steaks, reassuring us that they were cooked properly this time… they were all very rare and inedible, and the filet mignon was not a filet mignon by any means. I have no idea what kind of cut that was. There was also no one else in the restaurant, so it’s not like they were too busy to cook the food properly. Besides that, our waitress Sofia was very helpful and understanding about the situation. We do not recommend this place to anyone, do not waste your money or time.

This restaurant is a perfect choice for a seafood dining experience by the marina.Every dish was incredibly fresh and prepared with great care. The flavors reflect the high quality of the ingredients and the chef’s expertise. The unique view of the marina and the gentle sea breeze added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. The staff were extremely professional and friendly, making us feel truly special. I highly recommend this amazing spot to all seafood lovers. Simply flawless!🎉🎉

Had a reservation at 5pm, December 25th, for a prefixed Christmas meal. Waited 2 hours for our food which never came. We did not get a single plate of our 3 course meal. Decided to pay for drinks and leave. When speaking to the manager, he said the cooking staff did not prepare properly. A prefixed menu makes preparing easier with less meal options compared to a full menu. Extremely poor excuse and it’s ridiculous we waited 2 hours not even getting our SOUP appetizer. There were no apologies or any compensation. Will never come back to this restaurant and will tell others to avoid. From the likes of it, management needs to change along with addressing chief issues.

We arrived at 4 pm for Christmas dinner. We were given a selective 3 course menu. 20 minutes after ordering we are told that one out of the 2 appetitizer on the menu were no longer available “86”. Unfortunately we had order this item of stuffed mushrooms. It took exactly 1 hr to receive our first course of salad and soup from the time we ordered. When our entrees were finally delivered 2 of the 3 entrees were delivered. The last entree made it to the table 15 minutes later. We finally completed our dinner after 3 hrs.

Let’s be clear, restaurant was half empty, so I don’t think any of this can be blamed on the holiday. We were handed a holiday menu, but expected the regular menu. When we said we wanted the regular menu but asked for the soup in the holiday menu, they said it wasn’t prepped yet. The lobster bisque, which 5 out of 6 of us ordered, Was broken… the cream was broken. The Caesar salad never came out for two people and most of the main dishes came out and were cold. A bartender approached the table at one point, asked if one person was done their martini, and took the glass… only 1 glass, not the other 5 empty glasses on the table. Odd. One of the dishes was an $80 steam seafood dish… very cold, finally took it back and heated it up, but then it was overdone. The only good thing was that the manager took it off the check and gave us a discount for the other cold food. The server was sweet but she had no command of service and we had to keep reminding her of things that were missing. Very disappointing and won’t go back.

Sophia really worked hard to make sure we were happy. She corrected a mistake on the bill and made sure we were completely satisfied with our entire dining experience. The food was delicious!

Our service was friendly, helpful and polite. The food was good. The live music was talented but waaaaay tooo loud. We could barely hear our conversation.
