    One of our favorite happy hour destinations for shared plates and cocktails but can’t seem to get it right on the main courses. Last 3 meals (yes, we keep going back) have been sub-par, even for the very reasonable price. The previous two meals, the NY and Filets were all ordered MR and were, for lack of a better word, burned on the outside and (moderately) overdone inside. They cook over fire and (I’m no expert) it’s like the fire is too hot to get it to temperature before over-charring the outside, which is all you can taste. Last night, because we were gun shy, one of us got a filet w/blue cheese, which seemed to be “better”, one of us got a burger (a little rare for medium, but good) and I got the “tomahawk pork chop”. Unfortunately, the chop was way over cooked, also charred to a fault and REALLY dry, except right against the bone. We don’t complain, we keep going back and still will, but after an email to management went unanswered after last time, I decided to share an honest review. If this were a high end steak house with considerably higher pricing, it would be unacceptable. I guess, while I’m on a roll, service was slow, wine came over 10 minutes after the other drinks (it’s their own brand, so readily available…just sat there on the bar) salad arrived after the meals and the waiter was intent on “recommending” items, even after we’d made our decision…like there was a prize for selling the most au gratin potatoes. A bit odd to question a guest on their choices after the fact. I realize this is borderline petty at this point but It’s unfortunate a place this nice with such a great atmosphere feels like it uses price as an excuse to not do better, when it wouldn’t be that difficult.

    The food was great and so was our waiter Hugo but some lady threw our crème brûlée on our table and left

    Steak was overcooked on the bottom and meat was very chewy and hard to cut because of overcooked bottom. Flavor was great but not the best steak I have had there before. Took my nephew and was apologizing for the steak the whole meal as he was challenged to cut and chew the steak. Disappointing.

    We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner!!Our waitress handed us an anonymous card from someone in the community with $100 in it! What a wonderful and unexpected gift! We had a great dinner and we were so excited to be a recipient of such a wonderful gift!!! Thank you for facilitating such a fun evening! ❤️

    Staff was professional and attentive Food was excellent and very much a value for the price I would highly recommend this place. We go there every year and intend to do so in the future

    Everything was fabulous. We always go for the prime rib. Service food everything was great. My mother who is 84 years old and has Alzheimer's enjoyed everything. We always go back for Christmas Eve and mother's Day.

    We had a wonderful experience at Firebirds in Gilbert. It was a busy night since it was Christmas Eve Eve and they honored our reservation. They got us to our table right away and we had excellent service from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything that we ate, we loved. We will be back soon.
