I made a quick reservation after seeing a broadway show. The ambiance when you first walk in was inviting . The food was EXCELLENT! The service was great. I had the grill-charred oysters, main course was the Shrimp Etoufee' (big portion) with a delicious espresso martini. I would have given a full 5 stars but the desert was a little disappointing. I did not like the taste of the chocolate cake. The last time I had food this good was in New Orleans! I cannot wait to ho back

Great experience from the time we walked in up until the time we left out. Food was seasoned well and delicious. Great atmosphere with music level at a great level and pace. Look forward to returning again

This place is fantastic! I grew up in Southeast Texas and I can confirm this is real authentic Cajun/Creole food. Food was so flavorful and delicious and the jazz band was great!

My wife & I had dinner with a friend Thursday evening. We had a nice time. Food was good as was the service. Nice to finally find this cuisine in our the city.

This is my go to Restaurant anytime I’m visiting the city. Weather with friends or having a solo dinner the food and the service is always excellent! For every visit I generally like to try something new, so this evening I tried the Collard Green and Black Eyed Pea Succotash Salad w/ Shirmp along with my “go to”Grilled Oysters & Espresso Martini.

I decided to try this place because my old gumbo spot decided to rebrand it, so I tried Filé Gumbo, and it was delicious. The part that made me happy was the more traditional style of beignets. Especially with how much-powdered sugar was on there, it was mm. Absolutely amazing.

Cozy restaurant with inviting ambiance. The bar is long and big enough to enjoy. Very spacious. We tried Tiny’s Gumbo. It was decent. You get a bowl with a cup of rice to enjoy. Between the chicken & sausage and the crab & shrimp, the chicken is the better choice. There barely any crab in the gumbo and 4 shrimp in the bowl. The Ol’ Fashion on Bourbon St was not spectacular. They add mezcal & cognac but it didn’t save it. I’ll try something else if I return.
