   Food was delicious for the most part. High quality Italian food and fruity drinks. Was a little disappointed that they were out of their top sellers and service was lackluster.

   Food is fine but the menu looks the same as every other Italian restaurant in NJ. Service was so bad. Manager didn’t seem to care that the service was poor

   Good food, pretty restaurant but way too loud!  it was so loud it was very hard to communicate. The service was good. I don't know that I go back because it was very hard for us to communicate with our friends on a Friday night out.

   An absolutely dreamy quiet evening. We went for my birthday and the staff made little hints to make it a happy birthday with a little note written on the menu. To the staff wishing me a happy birthday. The food is always amazing (my 3rd time here) each time the menu slightly different. The ambiance food decor are all wonderful. Will definitely be back.

   Terrible service, our waiter disappeared for the majority of our meal, interrupted us multiple times abruptly, didn’t even come back to fill our waters. I would not recommend this place, the food was average as well.

   We were confused on our initial arrival based on the driveway layout - we didn’t know if self parking was available (it was) so we went with the valet. Upon entering the space it is breathtaking. The main dining area is elegantly decorated with an open concept kitchen featuring multiple fireplaces and lounge areas. There was live music, but we could not hear it where we were seated. The overall design makes it extremely loud inside - difficult to talk but positively lively. My group thought the drinks were creative and well-received. The apps were all delicious - we had the saffron arancini, tempura calamari, and felina meatballs including the courtesy app. Entrees were mid - good but nothing spectacular that would make you want to return for more ➡️salmon good 4, scallops good - a bit too much chili oil and the romanesco was lacking flavor 4, lobster fra diavlo good 4, NY strip was slightly under luke warm when it arrived to table making it 3. Duck fat potatoes were quite a pleasant surprise and crispy brussel sprouts were yummy. Tiramisu was dreamy and a huge portion - enough for 2-3 people. The ricotta cheesecake was terrible - dry as dust and very dense. Coffees and expresso martini were delicious. If the service were better I would give 4 stars but based on service I have to deduct 1 star. Our server was inattentive, frequently disappeared, and we waited 15-20 minutes (may have been longer) to try to get her attention for the check-we had to ask a busboy to help us out. Based on my observation there were other attentive servers in the vicinity - our server could have been new since she also reached across my companion’s food to serve me. Overall the drinks and appetizers were the stars of the evening. Also we discovered there is a whiskey bar/cigar lounge on the lower level after the fact, wish we knew that information ahead of time.

    Amazing. We have not been to the Sumitt Hotel in decades and found our new treasure. Food and service was amazing. The best part was the decor and sound level. The bar was huge and very active. Live music added to the experience. Ideal for romance. Can’t wait until next time
