Located in the city centre on the ground floor of Dublin’s 8 newest hotel, The Chancery, Fawn is a modern European restaurant serving vibrant ingredient-driven food. Showcasing Irish produce with references to the neighbourhood’s Italian-quarter history, the cocktails and sharing plates put the emphasis on stylish informality. The restaurant occupies a bright, light-filled space overlooking a lush, stepped terrace verdant with ferns, mosses and heathers. Fawn is a restaurant designed for Dublin.

                                              We had not realised upon booking that Fawn was a hotel restaurant. And it did indeed look like one. We were one of two tables at 21.00 on a Saturday evening in Dublin! However, the food and the service made up for the lack of atmosphere. The squid ink spaghetti with Dublin bay prawns were excellent and perfectly cooked. Al dente, slightly citrusy and the prawns were cooked to perfection. My daughter said that she could eat the butternut squash pasta every day for the rest of her life and my husband was impressed with his chicken dish. Desserts were just as delicious.i recommend the carrot and chai pudding. Service was really courteous and friendly, a big plus. All in all, if you are looking for delicate and flavoursome food with attentive service, and you are not fussed about a lively atmosphere or a restaurant with character, Fawn is for you. The same chef in a more traditional restaurant would be a massive hit.

                                              The food was amazing, loads of it too. Our waiter was so attentive and made sure we had everything. A really lovely evening. Thank you.
