   Banging, banging, Banging!! I went for the Sunday roast 700g Rib of beef and was not disappointed, the beef was cooked to perfection and the trimmings were so tasty, i couldn't get enough of the cabbage & roast potatoes. We had two waitresses serving us (Sam) sadly didn't get the other servers name but they were friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The DJ's were spinning soulful vinyl tunes throughout our sitting which added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be returning once i've lost a few pounds at the gym!!

   Lovely experience and fantastic food. A wonderful gem in Hertford. Looking forward to checking out the bar downstairs at some point. Live DJs is a very cool touch and creates as great vibe.

   Good food which consists of sharing plates so better if at least 4 of you. Slightly on the pricy side so best for a special occasion. Lovely surroundings and a good vibe but beware the music gets progressively louder and got to the point where we couldn’t hear each other as a table of four, which isn’t great when you’re out for a catch up over dinner. We would have stayed for an extra glass of wine but just too loud at that point so we left.

   Really enjoyable evening, great venue and excellent service. Food was very tasty, mains expensive and would prefer not to have all dishes as 'sharing' also not much choice for vegetarians re main dishes. Overall a very good experience and would definitely recommend.

   First class Sunday roast experience. As a lot have already said, must be through best roast we have ever had. My wife is not a huge roast fan, but even she was very very impressed.

   Excellent service. I pre-warned them regarding a food intolerance & before I arrived, they'd provided a menu with those dishes marked out.

   Keen to try this new local restaurant in Hertford Was prompted to book on seeing lunch menu offer on their socials and website. On being seated and receiving menus the lunch offer wasn’t presented and when asked about it were told that they’d stopped it. We then ordered from their standard menu which was lovely with some delicious small plates but £59 for a small piece of monkfish was extremely poor value for money.

    Really good quality lemon sole and the koffmann fries very tasty too. However, nearly £70 for 2 people without wine is a tad steep to make Ember a "must go back soon" kinda place. For a special occasion though it has a lot to offer.
