    We stopped in for a late lunch. Service was great and everything came out pretty fast. Food was mediocre. I had the “smash” burger and it was just a burger. If you’ve had a good smash burger you would know this wasn’t it. They used way too much of the sauce on top and it because all one flavor. We also had the oysters which we loved! Seemed fresh and the accompaniments were tasty. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich. Overall was good but again way to much sauce.. so much that she had to abandon the sandwich part a just eat it with fork an knife. The reason for the 3 stars is we had heard so much about this place and they just didn’t live up to the hype. We will try it again tho because their reputation deserves a second chance. Perhaps for a later dinner next time.

    My daughter and I fully enjoyed our date today for High Tea. It was my first time and I was thoroughly impressed.

    What a fabulous experience! We booked the Holiday High Tea and it was simply incredible. The staff provided a 5 diamond experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing - quite possibly the best high tea we have ever had. Kudos to whoever coordinated the amazing menu! We plan to make this day an annual trip going forward, it was just awesome! Thank you Elora Mill! Memories made!

    My second time to the Mill and it was a treat for my wife’s first visit. Overall good but not great, service (Jordyn) was wonderful. Food delicious but the warmed olives were overpriced for what we were hoping for. Loved the menu was based around d seasonal fresh ingredients, you could tell the menu was impeccably prepared. My only real complaint is I wanted the four course meal, but was talked out of it as my wife wanted to just order off the menu. So left feeling like I didn’t get what I came wanting. The meal I had (Wellington) was outstanding however.

    My Reservation was booked through Open Table 2 weeks in advance. It was for 12:30pm on December 13th for lunch. I specifically requested a table by the windows over looking the gorge so that we would not be interrupted by wait staff or other patrons being seated or leaving. Our backs would have been to the aisle and people seated behind us. Upon arrival about 10 minutes early, we were informed that our table wasn't ready No Problem! Within a few minutes we were told our table was ready And we were NOT SEATED AS REQUESTED We were seated right where everyone passed by including wait staff, other employees and guests. There were tables available by the window which was AS REQUESTED 2 weeks earlier. The staff were very cordial but, I felt RUSHED as 3 different staff were at out table. The noise level was higher than we expected making conversation a bit difficult. I expected the meal to be a bit pricey, after all it is the Elora Mill. I had no problem with the bill. The big problem for me was the total disregard for my requested seating, and the feeling of being rushed. Did I receive value for my $. Reflecting on my average entree and the noise level and rushed feeling. That would be a "No"
