From Nick Mathers' Wish You Were Here Group, Élephante Scottsdale channels the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy. Inspired by travels to Pantelleria and the Aeolian Islands, Élephante transports guests to the Italian Coast through thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus.

Beautiful venue. Hard to find in shopping mall. VERY LOUD and we sat against a wall!! Lots of employees although some were security personnel standing around. Why. Menu either had $20-$30 items or $80 items. 2 of us split mushrooms, asparagus, crispy potatoes, meat balls, shrimp appetizers. Enjoyed that. 2 men each had a pizza and Caesar salad. Not that thrilled with entrees

Most adorable server we've had at a restaurant in a long time. He was very attentive and had a wonderful smile. He made good recommendations when asked. Decor is neutral tones. Love that the tables aren't on-top of each other. Lends to having table-only conversations. Food, while unique offerings, was very rich. We ordered the broccolini to thin/healthy the meal out, but it was so covered in toppings that it was hard to identify. That was the only item we didn't end up eating. The calamari were so light and crispy. Not at all chewy. They were perfectly cooked. Our server stated that the idea was to eat family style so everyone gets a taste, but it's certainly not a must. That said, everyone was interested to taste each item...including the final course, a pistachio sundae. Not cheap, but nothing in Scottsdale is.

Food was awesome! Lived sharing plates as a very generous portion. All the servers were on spot!

My new favorite restaurant! The food was amazing and the service and ambiance were outstanding!! Will be back for sure.

Got the Calamari, was cooked perfectly. Had the eggplant appetizer that was so delicious and unique! Had the pistachio pasta, sausage pasta and squid ink shrimp pasta! All so delicious! Nice to have a new restaurant with amazing food! So happy they opened. Will be back. Hopefully California will bring some more much needed restaurants to Arizona. Waitress and all of the staff were so kind and helpful! A++

Ambiance and atmosphere was great for social gatherings. Food was mediocre at best, although the ragú blanco was very good. Overall, the experience was enjoyable for a quick day date.

We were celebrating a Birthday and couldn’t have been more pleased! We had an excellent waiter named Luis and he was very friendly and helpful when ordering our food. Loved the ambience and it was bright and cheery and fun!! Delicious choice!! We will be back and highly recommend!

Food and service was excellent. I had a pasta dish which tasted great. My friend also had a pasta dish which he did not find to his liking and the server replaced it without an issue and provided another dish which he enjoyed. The manager offered to provide yet another pasta dish without charge and addressed my friend’s questions about the first pasta dish and why he did not enjoy it. I liked that they had some different low alcohol beer choices. The crowd was very energetic and a good mix of people.
