SIMPLE INGREDIENTS. HONEST COOKING. UNPARALLELED AMBIANCE. At El Nido we present exceptional ingredients from sources we know and trust. Our menu follows classic cooking with intelligent innovation. Wood-fired pizza, steaks and seafood cooked on the Argentine grill along with homemade pastas are the basis for our food. Our seasonal craft cocktails and Sommelier procured wine list compliment our diverse selections.
With many options we are sure you will find amazing ambiance in this historic building. You can enjoy the relaxed vibe of the Zozobra Bar or dine al fresco on our beautiful covered patio during the temperate Santa Fe summers. In the colder months you can keep warm and enjoy one of three fireplaces in our dining rooms, or dine at our Chef's Counter and view our open flame grilling. Something for everyone.     The food was a disappointment… The scallops were swimming in butter and the chicken was dry…otherwise a nice place, we probably won’t go back.

    Had a family group of 9 at El Nido for dinner on a Wed night in Dec. Outstanding service and food! Cocktails were great. Everyone loved what they ordered: salmon, branzino, limoncello chicken, pork chop & mole, wagyu burger, 2 kinds of pizzas, and filet mignon. Can't say enough about how beautiful and tasty the dishes were. Spacious dining rooms made for fairly quiet dining. I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Santa Fe.

    We had to wait over 20 minutes for our table which was over 30 minutes because we were ten minutes early. This was for a party of three. Others who came in for the same reservation time were seated right away. When we were finally taken to our table we were taken to a back room which had very poor ambiance and was chilly compared to the other rooms. This room appeared to be an after thought. The table was sticky and not pleasant to eat from. We were told it was being refinished and reacted to the cleaning solution. The food arrived in a timely manner and was excellent. However our server never came to check on us, so we had to catch her eye when something was needed. I know this was for Thanksgiving dinner and would be busy. However; there were empty tables in a nicer part of the restaurant and the serving staff did not appear to be overworked. Having lived in the area for my 78 years and going to El Nido over these years I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed for my two guests. It will be difficult to recommend EL Nido even though the food was excellent.
