    The food and table service was great. Just one problem that started the experience on the wrong foot. We had reservations and the front desk check-in kept telling us to wait in line with the walk-ins. Very frustrating! Why did I go through the trouble of making a reservation only to have to wait for my table in line. The reservation time came and went while we were waiting.

    Food was disappointing my pasta was over cooked. Our Bellini was very underwhelming and they didn't even fill the glass. Our waitress seemed like she hated her life. Not worth the hype.

    The food was not as good as expected having bought numerous desserts and items from the grocery section previously and being very impressed. The appetizers (whipped ricotta toast, calamari and zucchini fry and fried polenta) were above average, seasoned well and cooked well. The pastas (gnocchi, lasagna sheets with sausage), were on the very greasy side and aggressively seasoned. Only 1 out of 3 people finished our pasta dishes. The best main course of the evening was the burrata pizza. Very nicely cooked and tasty. The two desserts ordered by the table were the strawberry gelato with whipped cream which was light and flavourful. The berry panacotta did not have the traditional panacotta consistency. It was very loose, like a heavily whipped yet broken cream and was overly sweet. Would not be high on the list for a return visit except for the convenience of being in the mall.

    The pasta was overcooked and had hardly any truffles. I had Tagliatelle it was really plain and boring. Very disappointing. The focaccia and the desert were fine but the pasta was definitely overpriced for the quality.

    I had the lasagne, it was very dry and looks old. They did even put enough sauce on top and around. It wasn’t warm either. Then they switch it for the fettuccine , which was not good at all. Was so bland and cold. I couldn’t eat it. Both pastas were Way too undercooked. The portions were so small. I didn’t eat my meal there and the packed portion look like take out portion. The kids meal was bad. So little pasta For the cost. And they just a big piece of cheese , I thought it was shredded. My friends pasta also dry and Al dente. I would not go back. I didn’t even risk trying dessert. There was no bread served at the beginning and no one came to our table to offer more cheese , like I saw them Going to others table.

    Food and service was great. Very busy and noisy in there but it was enjoyable. Prices a little on the high side I felt. Overall I would recommend Eataly.
