Husband and I went on a date night and wanted to try someplace new, and this had been on our to do list for a while and so glad we went. We were sat at the front window table that is spectacular overlooking State St. The only negative was that it was right in front of the entrance so got a COLD (single digits) draft every time someone came or left but they had also put up a curtain and drape to minimize this as well as portable heaters by the window making it not too bad. Would just ask for seat away from door next time we go in the winter. We had the chef special porcini mushroom arancini that was a flavor explosion with every bite. For dinner my husband had the tenderloin, and I had the swordfish- both were done beautifully, the capers and kalamata olives made the swordfish quite salty but the broth was very good. We also tried the ricotta donuts for dessert, and they were lightly crunchy on the outside with a warm gooey inside that was amazing. Our waitress was really helpful in suggestions, and they were spot on. We will definitely go back

A quiet mid-week night and we went out for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was about a quarter full or less. The server (Andre) was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food — fried eggplant, Shrimp scampi- was delicious. We would definitely go back again.

My daughter & I ate here before a show at the Overture & it was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful & they have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks, which was perfect for dry January. We highly recommend D’Vino.

We had a great experience on New Year's Eve! Very charming space, highly attentive staff, and the food + wine pairings were amazing. Fantastic spot for date night. We'll be back soon!

My family and I enjoyed it very much, staff was very attentive and their promise to not rush you during your experience was very present and very comforting. We all enjoyed our dinner, we started with the arancini, mussles and our kids had spaghetti and meatballs and a margherita pizza which they loved! The mussles have to be Top 5 mussles in Madison, they were the star of the show, extensive and great cocktail list for everyone’s taste and great wine list. Overall great food, service and experience, will definitely come back but probably in a date night instead of brining the whole family. At the end Dino the owner was very nice and came over and offered some delicious cookies for my children, great touch!

Had a superb evening dining with friends. Service was friendly, professional and attentive, cocktails were innovative and fun, wine list was great, and food and desserts were delicious. One of the best and most intimate places to dine in Madison. Note as this was our first time visiting, the space is rather small and entering the restaurant through the dining room was a little awkward. Also need a place to hang more coats. Highly recommend and we will be back.

The food is always great. What makes this restaurant a standout, though, are the owner and chef, Dino, and his staff. Dining at D’Vino is like dining with friends. Dino and his staff are so welcoming and engaging. I look forward to eating there and seeing them. It’s a winning combination.
