   We love the Double Cut! My steak was a little too seared on the outside for me- on a medium filet. My husband said the same about his steak as it takes on a “burned flavor” but of course the center was great! Service was excellent even with the power outage; everyone was apologetic but it just added to the ambiance. The MAJOR problem not just to the restaurant but to the entire resort was that the toilets would NOT flush in the restaurants, lobbies or common areas. This was less than ideal when they power is out for three hours. Maybe consider hooking up the toilets to the generator…

   Great service and food! The filets were great! Even the 4oz kids one was tender and tasty.

   Food to include steaks were extremely salty and the more you are the saltier it go.

   We had the tomahawk steaks. They were absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that they would not allow salad or a substitute appetizer for sides. I’ve never eaten in a nice steakhouse that would not substitute a side or two for something of equal value. Assuming this is a cookie cutter chain mentality. Was terribly disappointed about that, and opted not to buy those items separately, but I am not at all disappointed with the food or the restaurant itself.

   It’s sad when you go to a steak house and can’t get a steak the way you want it. I ordered a filets medium well and the only option I got was to slice it half to cook it. The person taking our order would not let me order it as it came, in one piece. I ate a side salad. What an awful experience. Everyone else apparently liked their steaks at this steak house. Management needs to train better.

   Beware of the bbq sauce but the cook was spot on. The service was fantastic.. just questionable choices on food pairings

   A table for two at 7pm and we were seated in an area where two other couples were out for date night as well. At about 7:30, a family came in with five children and were seated directly behind us. One could tell they were guests of the hotel as the fresh scent of chlorinated pool water lingered in the air around the well dressed couples out for a romantic evening. 5 kids talking over each other just got louder and louder and kinda ruined the evening.

    First time at Double Cut Steak House! We loved everything we ordered. The steak was amazing and the best side dish was the hashbrown. Our server Ender took great care of us We will definitely be back.
