DonJito, It's a Latin Fusion restaurant in the heart of the Mamaroneck Village, offering cozy ambiance, inviting decoration, mouthwatering luscious food, delectable cocktails and a hip vibe that makes you want to keep coming back. having traditional Latin cuisine, we made a reinterpretation of the sushis, inspired in most taseful latin Ingridients. We merged Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, Mexican and Peruvian iconic dishes, in a unique menu, from Paella to mofongo, from sushi to Steaks, there is something for everyone to enjoy in DonJito.

DonJito's indoor dinning space is classy, contemporary, and colorful. Large pieces of hand painted artwork adorn the brick walls and feel-good music is playing throughout the restaurant. Bar seating with TV's, high top tables and dining room seating are available

DonJito has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots! The ambiance is fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The waitstaff is attentive and genuinely caring, making sure every visit is enjoyable. As for the food—it's simply amazing! No matter what I choose from the menu, I’m always delighted by the delicious flavors. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience at Donjito! The food was awesome and the margaritas were great! I will definitely be back. Bruno and the staff do a great job taking care of their guests.

It was a really good place and pretty but my friend got a mocktail and they charged her the cocktail price of 16.00 which we were shocked and my friend found hair in her food and they brought a new one out quick but didn’t comp her for her extra side or anything which we were kind of shocked about. She got the octopus but with an extra side and thought since there was hair in it they would comp her the extra side or something but nothing so it was a nice place to go but if getting a mocktail they will charge alcohol price and not a cheaper price and won’t adjust prices

A completely weird dining experience. Of the things we ordered, three were not available. What we did order was beyond mediocre. Never recommending and never returning. If you're expecting Mexican or Spanish food, lower your expectations.

Noisy will kids running around the restaurant like it was a playground. The staff did nothing to mitigate the issue

It was not crowed for a Saturday night. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive. The food came out fast. The corn rice ball were good. Definitely needed the sauce. Not very moist. The 1/2 baked Chicken- presentation was nice. Plenty of Vegetables. Over all the chicken was over cooked and dry. At 10pm a DJ started. It got very loud and this particular DJ was ok. Each week is a different DJ, so you won’t know if you will like the music they spin or not. Another plus about this place is the kitchen is open. Till 11:30 on Saturdays. That hard to find in this area.
