The Don Carlos pays tribute to the Maestro Giuseppe Verdi, who stayed at the Grand Hotel et de Milan for more than twenty years. In an intimate and refined setting, re-created by paintings, sketches and scene-paintings from Teatro Alla Scala’s museum, the Don Carlos proposes Italian traditional cuisine, revisited by our Chef under the light of its antique silver chandeliers.

Our Chef interprets with creativity and refinement simple menus taken from the flavours and fragrances of the Milanese tradition.

A traditional cuisine respectful of the seasonality of each ingredient.

                                            I chose this place on a whim while in Milan and was completely blown away by the level of service at Don Carlo. The food, the wine, and how we were treated was absolutely top notch and one of the most memorable dinners in italy. The place is small, quiet, and quaint and just felt special during our time. Thank you!

                                            The waiter refused to let us in although we had a confirmed booking as Open table had not contacted the restaurant and so our names were not there !

                                            Really nice restaurant with impeccable service. Beautiful rooms with rich decor bringing us back to an era that I thought we had lost. Lovely furniture, wooden tones with crisp tablecloths. The food menu was not long which signified quality and quality it was. Homemade pasta served with elegance, nice wine list....
