   Our server/bartender was very helpful! We had a bumpy start since the menu is different than what is listed online. Apparently there has been a change in management in the last few weeks, so they are working through the kinks. The owner came out to greet us which was a nice gesture. The menu is basic, but the food came out hot and it was delicious! I got the fried fish sandwich and I loved the seasoning they used in the batter. The cook came out to check on us as well as the owner and our server. They were really trying hard to please us. Thank you!

   Service was amazing server was very attentive and helpful…. They even sang happy birthday to my daughter and brought out a complimentary dessert without us requesting Food was great and came very fast we will definitely be returning

   The breakfast skillet was delicious. I couldn't finish it all.. Loved the Strawberry Mimosas until I tried the Original mmmm... Looking forward to my next brunch visit!!!

   When you travel to another city expecting the food to be good and it’s not.. I ordered two dishes fish and grits and steak and eggs the fish and grits had no flavor and I asked for my steak medium well but it arrived to the table well done accompanied by eggs out of the carton. I’ve been here once before for brunch and the food was good, which is what made me return but today I was very disappointed in the lack luster presentation and quality of the food. My brunch companions didn’t enjoy the food either. The drinks and service was good but that’s about it. If the District has switched chefs perhaps think about switching back because today I was very disappointed and will not return. If your looking for the total brunch package The District isn’t the place unfortunately.
