I was on vacation and excited to finally try this place after a long time of following them on Instagram. I ended up pretty disappointed after our dinner though. Maybe it was an off night, or maybe I fell victim to things being over hyped on social media, but the food is average at best and the service was incredibly slow. Two appetizers, two entrees, and a 4% credit card service charge totaled $196 after the tip. I love supporting local businesses and understand costs are high, but for food that is just okay and not outstanding, that price stung a little bit.

Small, quaint, and authentic. Food was really good. Don’t go if you’re in a rush, everything is made in house and takes a while.

Special place, great service, NY Italian homemade lasagna is fantastic and their expresso martinis were so popular, I decided to try one, wow, delicious!

It's as close to a New York Italian meal as you can get in Arizona. I lived in NYC for 25 years and love it's Italian cuisine. Moving to Arizona I thought I would never find that type of food again. That's until I heard about DiMaggio's and we are so glad we did. Everything we had was great down to the desserts. The servers and bartenders was also really good. Felt like home.

We were excited since we ready that the food was a product of family recipes handed down many generations. I did not think that institutional food was around back then. We commented that the food tasted like something that would be served in a retirement home dining hall. It's just not good. Service was very good however. Don't waste your money...go to Uncle Sam's or Francos instead. You will be happier.

Service overall was below average and was not very attentive. Specifically, drink orders took a long time to be delivered when ordered considering restaurant not being busy that evening.
