   I looked up the menu and it showcased nice brunch items but when we got there they were only offering a buffet. The food was mediocre at best and the staff was incredibly slow even though there were only six seated tables. Loved the atmosphere it’s in a beautiful Kimpton but very disappointed in the restaurant.

   How nice to have another top-tier restaurant in San Antonio. From the moment we arrived at valet parking until we picked up our car, we were treated as if we were the only folks in the hotel. The gentlemen at the door walked us to The Study for a pre-dinner beverage. Our hostess seated us immediately and we were greeted by our waiter almost immediately. He was very attentive but not obtrusive. Our food was prepared just as we ordered and was delicious. We are looking to return very soon.

   Wonderful time! Ran into Shaquille O’Neal in the lobby on NCAA Final Four weekend. Great service from Gus. Manager checked in to make sure all was well. Charles Barkley was dining with some pals a few tables away from us. The crab leg meat wasn’t outstanding, but we were at a steakhouse! Ribeye Steak was outstanding!! This is so NOT Ruth’s Chris! A do again!

    The feel of this place is pretty neat. A cross of eclectic and classic style for downtown San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Mario took excellent care of us. The food is on another level. We had mostly seafood which was all fresh and cooked perfectly. The seafood plateau which is a chilled seafood tower of shrimp, king crab legs, oysters and lobster salad was amazing. And don’t skip the desserts. We tried the colossal carrot cake which had a savory aspect to it with carrot puree and grilled carrot strips garnishing an amazingly spiced carrot cake and traditional cream cheese icing. Next visit we try the amazing steaks they have ranging all the up to A5 wagyu from Japan.
