Dauphine’s is a modern day incarnation of the dramatic Grande Dame establishments of New Orleans, brought to you by the award winning Long Shot Hospitality - the team behind DC's beloved The Salt Line Restaurants. Dauphine’s utilizes Mid-Atlantic ingredients to prepare classic New Orleans fare while also creating original dishes inspired by the legendary city. All brought to you in a breathtaking spacious downtown restaurant setting with the most beautiful bar in downtown DC, plenty of patio dining, and a festive outdoor bar and garden area. Located in the Midtown Center, Dauphine's is just steps from the White House, National Theater, Convention Center, Cap One Arena and most downtown attractions and provides an elegant yet relaxed dining atmosphere for any occasion. Dauphine’s serves Dinner seven nights a week and Brunch on weekends, with Happy Hour every day 4pm-7pm and an ALL DAY Happy Hour on Sundays - plus don't miss our signature Sunday Live Jazz Brunch!     We were so impressed with this restaurant. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious. I was especially impressed that they have found just ther ight volume for the music; loud enough to add to the ambiance but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. Will definitely return.

    The beignets are AMAZING!! Table on the mezzanine level overlooking the main dining room felt like the best seat in the house.

    Went for brunch. Recommend the oysters, the bread basket, the crab cake, and the Higgins 75. Taste is great, portions are conservative, except sandwiches. Large plates aren’t really large and have no sides that accompany it. Service is on point.

    Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our entrees came out, and my catfish was undercooked (no flake, flesh was still gray). They took it back immediately with apology. My lunch companion ate while I watched her. She had finished by the time my food arrived. Eventually, my food arrived, and I ate while she watched me. There was no offer of food while I waited. They didn’t comp or offer to comp any aspect of the meal, even my cup of coffee. The food itself was very good once cooked properly.

    We came for a special New Year’s Day brunch and everything was amazing! We could stop oowwing and awwing at the food, drinks and ambience - the love jazz was great too! We will be back!
