The Cuervo family welcomes you to enjoy their most treasured values, savor homemade recipes from our family, who has spent centuries in the tequila brewing and the food & beverage industry, or enjoy the exquisite creations from the masterful Chef Roberto Gallardo, Charlie Trotter’s former sous chef, featuring gourmet dining with Mexican flair, all with our hallmark of warm hospitality; and last but not least, enjoy unique Tequila Tasting Experiences with Jorge Cuervo, Master Tequilier and descendent of the founder.

Our family is original from Tequila, Jalisco, best known as being the birthplace of the drink that bears its name, “tequila”. Our passion for this industry starts with Don Jose Antonio Cuervo, the founder of the Tequila. Nowadays 220 years after, part of the family still produces tequila, but Jorge Cuervo took after his father, Don Malaquías Cuervo, who expertise in the culinary arts inspired by his ancestor's deep knowledge of the authentic Mexican cuisine.

Jorge Cuervo gave us the most amazing Tequila tasting. He was so educational, informative, insightful and on top of all... kind. What an incredible experience for tequila lovers. But also, this tasting was so fantastic that even people who might not like tequila minds will change after this experience. The location is beautiful and the little snacks are delicious as well! Highly recommend and hope everyone enjoys it as much as my family and I did. Cheers!

We booked a tasting and dinner for my son’s 40th birthday. Jorge was so welcoming and is so knowledgeable on all things tequila. We learned a lot about the history of tequila and his family’s history. The food was served family style, and it was outstanding! We went on a Wednesday night and it was quiet. We basically had the whole bottom part of the restaurant to ourselves. It felt like Jorge was hosting us in his home! He and his staff were very attentive. Highly Recommend!

Our family enjoyed a fabulous tequila experience at Cuervo's House followed by dinner. It was informative, interesting and our time spent with Jorge was really enjoyable. The dinner that followed was delicious and we appreciated the warm personable service and ambience. Definitely not to be missed and we will be back.

Honestly, the best experience we happened upon in San Jose. The restaurant is a quaint little gem that has been in business for 28 years. They have the most authentic dishes passed down through 9 generations. As an added bonus the chef offers tequila tasting experiences. A must try when in San Jose Del Cabo.

This experience exceeded expectations! It was the highlight of our trip. Jorge & his staff are knowledgeable, entertaining and extremely passionate about ensuring your experience is memorable. Jorge is highly educated in tequila & his knowledge isn’t persuasive towards one type of tequila, he is there to teach you about it so you have the knowledge to form your own opinions based upon your individual preference! This was well worth it and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!

We had the best time learning about tequila and the food was so delicious! This is our second time doing it as a group and we will be back next year! Highly recommend making this a priority when you visit San Jose Del Cabo

Jorge and his team were amazing! The food was some of the best we had in Cabo. The setting is intimate with only a few tables available (which we loved). Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. We will definitely return and for food and tequila tasting!
