   I was disappointed with the food and view. The lobster bisque, steak and sides were average. The view was average. Windows were dirty and could not see the city clearly. Disappointed that the floor did not rotate and we could not see the full city view.

   This restaurant is now like most restaurants “with a view” – good views, mediocre food and “hit or miss” service. Previous experiences, I enjoyed great views, great service, great food – but my last two interactions, were dismal, at best. In early December of ’24, I had made reservations for a party of five and a couple of weeks later, when a sixth friend decided to come to Dallas for the holidays, I wanted to increase my 6pm, Sunday, 12/29 reservation to six. This is not possible on OpenTable, however, a phone number to the restaurant is provided. Five attempts over five days. Each time an AI robot answered, each time the AI agent sent me to a voice mail. The next day, after each attempt, I received a return phone call – one ring, no voicemail, no connection, nothing. Growing frustrated, I canceled the reservation, and we went to DEL FRISCO’s for an AMAZING experience. Following a two-month cooldown, I made reservations to return. The evening started out well, with cocktails, as we waited to be seated. Ordered starters, entrees and wine. Contrary to previous visits, this evening, my water glass remained mostly empty, and we poured our own wine. Tomato salad was interesting - description included shaved chocolate; however, they were like large chunks. Both of us ordered filet mignon, with a flight of sides to share. Partner ordered filet medium rare, I ordered my steak blue. Medium rare was salty & dry, blue was overcooked & salty, accompaniments on both plates were cold. I refuse to send a steak back to the kitchen at a steakhouse. During dinner I provided a recap of my holiday attempt and frustration, but it basically fell on deaf ears – server chalked it up to a hostess that was just going through the motions. AN 18% AUTOMATIC GRATUITY IS NOW ADDED TO THE BILL, EVEN FOR TWO PEOPLE. Online menus refer to a suggested gratuity of 20% for parties of 6 or more – those parties must just show up. Don’t insult me with an auto-gratuity.

   I was very disappointed that they had never repaired the rotary function of the restaurant. That is the entire reason I would willing pay their high prices.

   Food/Service Excellent. The only thing I do really miss is does not revolves around the city but the spot was perfect

   From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and classy. The service was top-notch, and every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Each course was delicious, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. A memorable dining experience, full of great food and exceptional service.
