   Waited very long time for order to be taken initially and again after plates had been cleared for dessert to be ordered. When bill came there were two significant errors. Bill had two drinks included which we had not ordered and the advertised discount of £20 (which was the main reason for dining there) was not deducted. No sincere apology offered for what was an unacceptable error and still service charge was applied. We have used Cote Winchester frequently in the past but will not be returning.

   Fab night, lively and happy. It was a Saturday so just what we were looking for! Great service, lovely food. Had a fabulous time!

   A reasonable meal. Unfortunately the people who had ordered steak received a cold meal. The steaks were replaced.

   Booked for my partner's birthday, was a lovely experience and the food was amazing. Staff were accommodating for my partner's allergies for both gluten and milk, and provided an unexpected amount of variety, especially with the sides. Selection of drinks was also surprisingly broad, nice touch that all the wine is exclusively French, keeps to the aesthetic of the experience. Did order a glass of wine that didn't turn up for around 30min, at which point I asked to have it chased down, though I'd put that down to it being a busy Friday night. The Côte de Boeuf sharing platter was delicious, though maybe not the most cost-effective choice on the menu, as well as one of the cuts of meat that was provided on the bone did not have much meat on it at all. Overall, was a wonderful dining experience, and the next time we're back in Winchester we will be considering dining here again.

   Wife and mother both ill after having fish as main course. I had chicken and was unaffected. Obviously pre-frozen and not cooked satisfactorily. Had to send soup back as that was cold. Will be a while before we feel comfortable going to another Cote. Service ok but let down by food.

   We were a large group and it was a busy night. However the staff were very attentive and we were looked after. The food was great and overall we enjoyed our family Christmas outing to Winchester. Thank you Côte
