We asked and were given a lovely booth on the ground floor to accommodate my parent’s needs. Service was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the new Cote menu and the creme caramel went down well for desserts.

A really lovely birthday brunch! Great vibe, friendly service and delicious food! I’d definitely recommend the French toast! The staff were also great with our two young children, so thank you!

Obviously a busy time of year, but nearly 30 mins to get out a baked camenbert was rather disappointing....as.was the steak....gristly and fatty in places. Rather expensive for what it was.

Overall our experience was outstanding but that was down mainly to the staff. It was a very challenging evening due to being incredibly busy & very short staffed in the kitchen and therefore a huge delay with food. Our fougasse bread was excellent and came out reasonably quickly. However, we then waited an hour and a half for our food that was then stone cold and tepid. Our waiter Antal was excellent in explaining one of the dishes & was extremely apologetic, and Ellie was amazing, more than making up for it by adjusting our bill. We are regulars so know that this was a one off. Their customer service to us was superb & made up for any not so good points. We’ve been back since and would highly recommend.

Lovely welcome as always - shame there was so many items not available on the menu. Always love coming but not having some items made choosing more difficult and perhaps would have had a better experience if could have had our first choices! However had a lovely time with great friends.

The atmosphere was great and the staff all friendly. I particularly liked the Happy Birthday stirrer in my daughter’s drink a lovely touch. The food was very nice, we all really enjoyed our meals.

We had a nice meal however service was disappointing. Upon arrival no drinks order taken, whilst we were looking at the menu. We ended up having to ask a waiter to come and take a drinks order. We then had to wait quite a while for a Supervisor to take our food order due to allergies. Had to request for some tap water on the table 3 times as it kept being forgotten. Coffees took a long time to come out at the end of the meal even though restaurant was emptying out. Overall not the experience we usually get from Cotes.

I had booked a table for sons birthday. On arrival, the greeter asked who's birthday it was??? Fabulous welcome. Our table server also acknowledge it was a special occasion. The service and food were excellent. On receiving the bill, the cost of 3 drinks had been removed as a birthday present. Great experience. Thanks
