Mushroom Arancini were perfectly cooked. But the flavor came from the sauces. And the gnocchi were as delicate as I have ever tasted.

Our water, Scott, was delightful! Although we had a 5:00 reservation and arrived before 4:30 they generously said we could order food at a bar table and benefit from happy hour prices. The menu is smaller but such satisfying choices. The food is always cooked to perfection.

Brunch was great as usual. We brought a close friend who was at Corso the first time. She loved it. Ash was as wonderful server again

A true neighborhood gem! We ate dinner on Wednesday night and were unexpectedly surprised that Corso offers half-off wine bottles on Wednesdays. This special coupled with superb pastas and entrees makes Corso a great venue.

The dinner was so good there were no leftovers to take home. The server was attentive. Definitely worth a return.

This was our third dinner at Corso and the best. We dined with three others and all agreed that it was superb. Our server, Jesse, could not have been better, knowledgeable, attentive and gracious. We began with the Formaggi and Salumi Board, followed by the Burrste Caprese. Both were delicious especially the cheeses( we expected no less from Corso’s Cheesetique heritage) Our mains were the Campanella Alla Romana, a favorite, and the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese, which did not disappoint. One of our guests had the Veal Chop Milanese which we tasted and can report that it was one of the very best. We chose a Barolo wine that was a wonderful accompaniment. Dessert was a shared fig pannacotta and Circus Maximus a chocolate confection for the ages.. Some reviewers found Corso a bit pricey but we think it is an incredible value. Five stars well-deserved!

Food was pretty good, service at the bar was poor. Focaccia ordered as an appetizer came out after our meal arrived. Pastas (gnocchi and campanelle alla romana) were good, but took 40 minutes to arrive. Others who ordered after us got their meals much quicker, so I wonder if bartender forgot to put in the order. My wife finished her glass of wine before dinner arrived and was not offered another glass until after we finished our meal. We‘ll head back to Stellina next time we’re in Shirlington.

I had set up a reservation for 6 people for a pre- theater dinner. The group was a patchwork of people who did not know each other. I knew it might be easier to converse in a secluded area of restaurant and we were accommodated. Server understood we had a time limit and honored it. Food was excellent and we were able to arrive at theater on time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really loved our dinner at Corso. The environment is lovely, though we did have a noisy table quite close to us for the first half of our meal. After they left, we enjoyed it much more. Food was lovely, service from Mark was really great and we even were treated with a sample of the owner’s favorite cheese to take home.
