Die Lakeside Mill ist ein brandneues zweistöckiges Gebäude mit einem großen offenen Esszimmer und einem Innenhof im Freien, zwei unglaublichen von New York inspirierten Bars, einem freundlichen Straßencafé, abgesonderten Veranstaltungsräumen und einem beeindruckenden Balkon mit Blick auf Lakeside, Pakenham. Geboten wird moderne australische Küche, 20 Sorten von sowohl lokalem als auch importiertem Bier, Boutique-Biere sowie handwerklich gebraute Biere und die beliebtesten Sorten, Weine aus den besten Regionen Australiens sowie Cocktails aus aller Welt. Das Restaurant serviert ein ständig wechselndes Menü a la carte, das aus frischen Produkten der Saison zubereitet wird. Darüber hinaus gibt es das "Degustationsmenü", welches der Chefkoch aus den besten Gerichten der Region zusammenstellt. Very nice. Only reason for 4 stars on the service was that it was a little slow but considering it was a busy evening everything went smoothly. Staff helpful and we did not feel rushed. Great work. See you next time.

Well they where well understaffed but the staff they had on done well for the amount of people come in food was good .

Copper & Fox is my favourite local. The Mac n Cheese Croquettes and the Crispy Squid entrees are to die for! The seasoning on the fries are intriguing and amazing! The service is great. Allan the owner is a lovely guy and his personality and passion for his restaurant is reflective in the staff he has working for him. It can be a little noisy for those hard of hearing when it’s busy, but the overall atmosphere and vibe is great! Some items may seem a bit pricey, but the quality, presentation and flavours when in your mouth, make you forget what you paid. Everywhere is getting dearer in general these days, but you will walk away having had a wonderful evening and be glad you chose Copper & Fox!

I booked a table for the outdoor courtyard on Sat (11/1) and as there wasn't any umbrellas setup and the hot sun blaring down we opted to dine inside. Our lovely waitress set us up on a table with a warm and friendly smile and this just added to what was a really pleasant experience with beautiful food. I had the Crispy Calamari entree' which was delightful and melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this venue, the only thing that could make it better would be some simple entertainment such as a nice acoustic guitar set or similar - otherwise loved it.
