    Booked a table for 16/08 at 7.30 arriving at 7.20. On arrival we were told that they needed to check if the kitchen was still open. We informed that we had booked a table but was told they would need to check with a lady named carol. From the start we felt like an inconvenience. We were told that yes we can order if we do it quickly so had to make a quick decision. Within 30 seconds carol had come out the kitchen and basically shouted at the bar staff asking if we had ordered yet and this was the last one! (I was actually at the bar doing it) it was really rude and made us feel so uncomfortable. One bar staff had to apologise on her behalf as she could see what had gone on. We got our dinner which was good but had a missing element but was not told that until it was put down in front of us so we guessed we were not allowed to choose something else. Not a good experience from your kitchen staff felt sorry for your bar staff having to pick up the pieces

    A beautiful Sunday lunch meals were all good hot and tasty all in all a very satisfying Sunday party of eight and all enjoyed the meal

    The Clousden is a vibrant and friendly pub. Great for meeting friends & seeing live bands. Plenty staff who are always so friendly & efficient. It's great that I can always book table as I have health problems & need a seat.

    I have a fussy grandson who takes after me but Sunday he was like 10/10 for dinner he absolutely loved it which we all did Sunday roast was delicious and those who has desert loved it I had sticky toffee pudding with custard stayed hot all way through was mmmmmmmm delicious

    Staff were lovely. Bar was clean, seats were comfy. We had food and drinks and it arrived in good time & was delicious. Such a good spot for a nice little afternoon off. Will definitely visit again.

    SUNDAY LUNCH WAS VERY GOODFOUR DIFFERENT MEALS AND EXTRA SIDES ALL OF THEM WELL PREPARED AND VERY TASTEY VERY GOOD SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF COULD NOT FAULT IT
