   Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. Food quality, service, vibe, etc. are all first rate. A large bar area where you can eat and drink is super nice. Both Brandon and Dave took great care of us on our last visit . Hilton Head has so many great restaurants, but Chez Georges Bistro is our favorite.

   From start to finish our meal and dining experience was excellent! Eric, dressed dapper in suspenders and bow tie, greeted as warmly as we entered. We were seated at a table for 2. He was also our very attentive server. Knowing it was a special occasion for us that I noted upon booking the reservation, we were presented with a welcome champagne to enjoy while we perused the menu. We both ordered the mussels appetizer, my entree was Crabe Diable & my husband ordered the Sandwich Merguez/lamb sausage sandwich. The mussels were in a coconut milk, lemongrass infusion and were delicious. We enjoyed the broth so much that we ordered bread to baste in the juice. The fries that came with the mussels were presented with a black truffle aioli dip. Our entrees were very subtly flavored as well. For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse topped with blood orange creme. The soft colors of the dining room and the quiet atmosphere was like we were the only 2 there. Our experience was memorable and fine. We will be back and bringing our friends!

   This was our first dinner at Chez George. My husband and I were blown away by the authenticity of our dishes. He ordered bouillabaisse and I ordered mussel frites in a mild, perfect curry broth. Both were sublime and extraordinary. Our server, Dominic, was terrific as was the sommelier and wine list. Highly recommend!!

   Dinner at Chez Georges – A Real Treat We had a really lovely dinner for two at Chez Georges in Hilton Head. We started at the bar with cocktails and wine—honestly one of the best Old Fashioneds I’ve ever had. Monica, the bartender, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to talk to. The escargot was excellent—served piping hot in a rich mushroom sauce with toasted bread on the side. Perfect for sharing. And the venison… just outstanding. Cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and really memorable. We went in March, so things were calm and there wasn’t much of a wait, but I’d still recommend making a reservation on OpenTable—bar seating needs a reservation too. We love this place. Great food, warm atmosphere, and consistently good service. Always a pleasure.

   Chez Georges is the best! Had the fish special tonight - excellent. Try the other foods - equally as good, all made to order. The escargots, oysters and salads are great. For a real treat, try the Bouillabaisse (a rustic fish stew) - fresh seafood & shellfish in the best saffron based sauce served with homemade baguettes. The bar is wonderful - great cocktails & wine.     Another outstanding dinner at Chez Georges! The venison entree was absolutely delicious as was the beef bourguignon. Our server Will was friendly, helpful and very efficient. The vibe was lively without being too loud — perfect for a romantic evening out. Chez Georges has quickly become our favorite restaurant on Hilton Head Island. You have to try it…
