A small french(ish) bistro in the penthouse delivering delicious food with intent and very energetic wines, in the absolute comfort of a pub.
A classic sunday roast. Dimanche Rôti if you will. A limited menu of snacks with a focus on a plate of something delicious, lots of good things to drink. Dietaries may not be able to be catered to but we will try our best.

I normally love this restaurant and have been many a time. The food is normally perfectly cooked, but this time it wasn’t.
Both my requested medium rare steak and my friend’s requested rare to blue steak were pretty much medium.
Pretty poor really.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, food incredible!
We asked to move to a nicer table and it was all fine, slight mistake with the bill that was quickly sorted.

Loved it - can't wait to go back! Buzzing with Jazz downstairs and not much different up in the restaurant, which made for a very fun evening.

From the moment we walked through the door, it because resoundingly clear why Chez Crix is hands down one of the best dining establishments in Sydney.
The staff are skilled, friendly, engaging and, in every way, phenomenal. Every staff member knows their product and is more than happy to offer opinions and recommendations if pressed.
Food. Where do I start? Casual fine dining has become relatively commonplace in recent years, and Chez Crix has done its absolute utmost to stand out from the crowd. The menu boasts a range of items with classic roots and a cheeky new-age twist. Everything we ordered didn't fail to wow and tantalise. If we had to pick our standouts (tough call), they were the duck liver parfait with Beaujolais jelly and cornichons and the pâté en croûte with smoked pork, hazelnut and foie gras.
The venue is simply delightful - think old school charm in the modern context and seats large and small tables.
If you've been holding out dining at Chez Crix, what on earth are you waiting for?! Make the booking, I promise you won't regret it.
