Chez Crix is hosting a weekly Sunday afternoon of refreshments. We'll be pouring some special wines, dishing out snacks from our new menu and a rotation of sublime dj's will be playing to keep everyone feeling good. Bookings recommended but walk-ins are welcome!
Please note, this is not our usual service but a more convivial afternoon with casual service and very good food & booze!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, food incredible!
We asked to move to a nicer table and it was all fine, slight mistake with the bill that was quickly sorted.

Loved it - can't wait to go back! Buzzing with Jazz downstairs and not much different up in the restaurant, which made for a very fun evening.

From the moment we walked through the door, it because resoundingly clear why Chez Crix is hands down one of the best dining establishments in Sydney.
The staff are skilled, friendly, engaging and, in every way, phenomenal. Every staff member knows their product and is more than happy to offer opinions and recommendations if pressed.
Food. Where do I start? Casual fine dining has become relatively commonplace in recent years, and Chez Crix has done its absolute utmost to stand out from the crowd. The menu boasts a range of items with classic roots and a cheeky new-age twist. Everything we ordered didn't fail to wow and tantalise. If we had to pick our standouts (tough call), they were the duck liver parfait with Beaujolais jelly and cornichons and the pâté en croûte with smoked pork, hazelnut and foie gras.
The venue is simply delightful - think old school charm in the modern context and seats large and small tables.
If you've been holding out dining at Chez Crix, what on earth are you waiting for?! Make the booking, I promise you won't regret it.

Really exceptional experience, Service was on point, knowledgable yet approachable. Advice on dishes was spot on, vino selections helpful, all food delicious, well seasoned and fit for purpose.

Set in old hotel converted to a small restaurant and bar with live music, this is a great neighborhood hangout with tasty food with a French flair. I had the chicken with au jus and a stir fried local green leafy veg. Tasty. Had poached pear in filo wrap that was a very nice finish to my meal. Went downstairs and listened to a nice jazz set with guitar, bass and sax. Lovely evening.

Fabulous food matched by the fabulous service.
Wait staff are knowledgeable, friendly, attentive & do their job well. Chefs are skilled & talented at their craft.
We went for the Sunday roast lunch. Roast pork, duck fat potato’s, Yorkshire pudding, spinach & gravy. We had one person in our group who didn’t eat pork & with notice given at the time of booking, chefs kindly made allowances & had portion of roast chicken to substitute.
Starters we shared bread, olives & frites & finished with the apple tarte tatin.
2nd time we have been there & just as enjoyable as 1st dining experience, thanks again & will definitely be back.
