Chao Pescao is our neighborhood restaurant offering a gastronomic journey through Latin America and the Caribbean curated by Costa Rican born Chef Keivin. The menu style is shared plates, and this is your chance to discover some of the unique flavors of the region. Our award-winning mixology program has also made this restaurant a guest favorite. Mixology, cooking classes and live music are offered throughout the week. Our communal table is perfect for large parties.

Dining Visitors to Peninsula Papagayo
If you are not a homeowner or guest staying at one of the resorts or homes within Peninsula Papagayo, please contact Guest Services at gscenter.papagayo@andaz.com to advise the date and time of your reservation, so we may coordinate your entry into Peninsula Papagayo with the security teams. Visitors are only permitted with confirmed dining reservations and advance notice to security. You may be required to show a copy of your dining confirmation.

    We always have a wonderful experience at this place but it was extra special for a birthday celebration. Christian our waiter went out of his way to make sure we had the best time. The ambiance is perfect, the food is delicious as always and we will definitely be back to enjoy it again and again. Thanks for being a wonderful place to celebrate.

    Reserved an outdoor table days in advance, instead we were seated right next to the kitchen. Was told we would be moved when a table opened up but instead watched group after group being seated outside. The restaurant is nice and the food was good but our table made it difficult to enjoy.

    Costa Rican ceviche and empanadas were great. Server was really nice and the banana dessert was delicious.

    Amazing food. Every dish we had was better the next. Highly recommend the ceviche and brisket. But you really can’t go wrong.

    Wow wow wow !! Another andaz treasure . Came here for boyfriend birthday. Ethan and the manager made his birthday extra special with a band happy birthday! Desserts and the smoked cocktails to die for. We explored different regions of cuisine .

    Five-star meal for a 2-star price! My family of three sampled 8 tapas plates and shared one dessert all for under $200. Everything was fantastic! A must try: the sweet brisket!!
