   Lage und Atmosphäre sind einmalig. Die Renovierung des Restaurants sehr gelungen. Preise für New Yorker Verhältnisse akzeptabel. Qualität der Speisen sehr gut. Geräuschpegel moderat, gemessen an anderen Restaurants in NYC. Der Oberkellner sehr freundlich, andere im Team mit leichten Schwächen. So dürfen die Teller der Vorspeise nicht abgeräumt werden, wenn die andere noch isst. Aber davon abgesehen, eine klare Empfehlung.

   Schönes Lokal in idyllischer Lage. Leider war der Service sehr unaufmerksam. Wir haben sehr lange auf die Getränke gewartet, die dann zeitgleich mit dem Essen eintrafen. Das Essen war ok, aber für den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt.

   Second time in NY, and I wanted to be back. We loved the food and service was smooth. Only a bit noisy. I recommend it, it was like in my memories

   We were the first two people to be seated on a raining cold Sunday morning. We asked for a table by the window but were refused that request because there were only ‘two ‘ of us. I kindly explained we were visiting from California and had made the reservations long ago with that request, but were denied that option. Our table was fine, the service excellent, the food delicious, BUT business was slow and those tables at the window saved for ‘four’ were never filled during our entire meal. So this is where I have a problem, no matter how good the food, how excellent the service, a little extra to meet a clients request would have meant so much more. Perhaps the Central Park Boathouse can rethink their policy?

   Enjoyed our view of the lake The staff was great. Food was very good. I didn’t love that we had to pay for rolls.

   our experience was so disappointing, the wait staff were cool and not inviting compared to all the other places we ate at in New York. My husband accidently spilled his glass of water , we had to ask for more napkins to clean it up, the table cloth was also soaked and ignored, my daughter's hamburger which she asked for medium was barely cooked. When making the reservation it was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion to which I responded it was a 16th birthday celebration. No mention was even made to acknowledge this. We were so looking forward to this iconic piece of New York City and I must say our only disappointment. Despite the fact we had to make reservations a month in advance, the tables weren't even half full and I now understand why
