Service was fabulous, food was amazing. The LED street lighting that came thru on the corner table outside reduced the twinkle, warm lighting ambience, but the food was fantastico!

The sweet corn agnolotti was a little small in portion but the best thing we ate all night. The charred octopus, spicy pomodoro and the pavlova were all stand outs as well

The service could have been more attentive. My friend didn’t enjoy her food but didn’t complain. She maybe took a couple of bites. My pasta was good, but way too rich. I didn’t eat all day and couldn’t even finish my plate. Cesar salad was delicious and done right, and so was the dessert….I would say that this was decent, but I had higher expectations from all the reviews. Maybe this just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Celebrated our 7 year anniversary and the hostess seated us right by the olive tree. It was a magical night with even a candle on top of our banana tiramisu bread pudding - wow. Thank you for being part of our special day :)

We had a top notch dining experience at Cento. I think it also goes without saying that we were quite kind guests and they reciprocated above and beyond. It pays off to be kind and patient. Now back to the food, we had amazing cocktails and food. The Himachi Crudo, little gem Caesar, beef tartare, pasta dishes (angolatti-my fav!), ribeye and branzino were amazing! The banana pudding tiramisu was fantastic too. Cocktails were great all around!!!

This was a very Basic experience that disappointed all around. Service was absent— minded, we were seated quite late after our reservation with no offer of a drink or something comped as a gesture, all the food was very average for what we thought would be more interesting and delicious, cocktails presented cheap (they kept running out of proper ice and glassware) and pre-batched. Not handcrafted. Sadly, this is the trend with too many restaurants in LA selling a premium, special experience and unable to deliver.

Love it here. The food is amazing and the drinks are always on point. Shoutouts to the chefs and staff as well for their great hospitality!

We made reservations for the counter, but unfortunately ended up seated at the far end, near the dishwashing area and doors, where there was an uncomfortable draft from beneath the counter. I should have mentioned it right away, but since they looked full, I didn’t want to make a fuss. Our drinks arrived very quickly, which was nice, though at $18 each, we were surprised to find they were just batch cocktails rather than hand-crafted ones. We ordered all of our food at once, as recommended, but when the second & third dishes arrived, we didn’t receive fresh plates or silverware for items like the octopus, which had a rich romesco sauce that mixed into our Caesar salad. Not a huge issue, but we expected more attention to detail given the restaurant’s reputation and prices. The food was mostly enjoyable. We tried the hamachi crudo, which had just five small pieces of fish for $26, along with the octopus, Caesar salad, spicy pomodoro, and carbonara. The standout was definitely the carbonara. The rest was good, but nothing particularly memorable. We also ordered a martini that tasted overly vermouth-forward. When we raised it with our server, she responded that they don’t even stock vermouth—which was confusing, as two cocktails on their menu contain it. It felt dismissive, and left us questioning her response. Overall, our high expectations for this restaurant didn’t quite match the experience. Perhaps a better seating arrangement and more attentive service would have made a difference, but we left feeling a bit disappointed.
