Cecconi’s Pizza Bar is the newest addition to our collection of Cecconi’s Italian restaurants and the first pared-back version with a pizza focus. Located in London’s Soho and open until late, Cecconi’s Pizza Bar serves drinks, including Aperol spritz and negroni on tap, alongside classic cicchetti, wood-fired oven pizzas and spaghetti.

                                                                      The restaurant looks really nice and the food is fine. However the place is really noisy with no sound buffers so it’s difficult to have conversations. Unfortunately the service was really bad. The staff were nice enough but everything took ages. We had to ask for things having waited for so long. Having finished the main course we were left for half an hour with no one clearing the table or asking us if we wanted anything, we eventually asked if the table could be cleared. I was bought a coffee and had to ask for sugar when it anrrived and by the time I got the sugar the coffee barely warm. I think they must have been really understaffed. Will not be going back.

                                                                      Food was good but service was awful, took 1h15 to get main courses apparently this was due to the time it takes to cater for gluten free pasta. Once we finished starters, our plates were not cleared for 20 minutes. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others were rude and dismissive.

                                                                      The waiter guy was terrible! He wasn't taking notes when we were ordering, he was super excited and tense chewing intensely a gum even while he was talking to is, the poor reception host was running around with a service while the guy was making an impression he is better than that. Terrible and unprofessional. When he forgot to deliver part of our order he blamed others and offered instead free coffee - which was a serious insult as my complaint was not about getting free things. I asked to remove the service charge - when always I tip in cash additionally and generously. That was a shame.

                                                                      Convenient location with good quality food. Poor acoustics result in your table partner being inaudible because of normal conversations and that was before the music started.

                                                                      Food is the only good thing. Music is too loud making impossible to have a conversation. Overwhelmed waiters keep forgetting about things you ordered. The stress is way more than the enjoyment. Never again

                                                                      Everything about it is great except for how loud it is. The service was actually a bit overkill tonight but I’m being picky. You’re certainly paying for the location but I enjoy it every time I go

                                                                      The staff and food were amazing!! We were late due to traffic but because we called they held the table for us. All the staff so smiley and helpful. Would have stayed longer but we had a musical to go to. Fast and attentive service!!
