Great option for weekend brunch. Cebu has a lot of creative french toast options. Hubby had the mango banana french toast that he can’t stop raving about. They have inventive cocktails which are inspired with Filipino flavors. I had the espresso martini with ube foam. Let’s talk about the Chef Special: the flavor of the roasted pork was good but i like it to be a little bit more tender. I’ll order it again, it’s great with garlic rice. Overall, I’ll recommend this place.

The tocino burrito was surprisingly delicious, could use a little bit more eggs but overall a great treat. The lechon kawali was just average, harder to chew than normal. I thought the garlic fried rice would have more oomph but it was ok. The marshmallow carajillo drink was top notch and we ordered twice. Overall ambiance was good. Service was great. Plenty of free street parking in Belmont on a Sunday

The food was incredible. Got the lumpia, Breakfast Chicken Inasal, ube chorizo sandwich, and the ube swirl toast. Everything was delicious. Also did the bottomless brunch. Our server was super helpful and made great recommendations! The vibe was great and they had high chairs available for my toddler. Overall would definitely recommend!

I really liked Cebu at the Wicker Park location so I was excited to try them again at their new site. The food was just okay. Our main issue was that some of the food was lukewarm. The French fries however were very hot and yummy! Maybe they are still trying to get their footing. I hear they do a great brunch, so maybe I’ll give that a shot. Will definitely give them another chance because I really want them to succeed.
