Catch Hospitality Group's eighth location, Catch Dallas, will be opening it's doors in the iconic and historic Maple Terrace Development this Fall. The 16,000 square-foot dining destination in Uptown Dallas will be complete with a two-level outdoor patio and private events in the signature space, the Emerald Room.
The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak both globally and locally influenced alongside beloved signature dishes like the Catch Roll and Truffle Sashimi. Catch Dallas will feature premium Japanese specialties like luxury sushi selections from Tokyo's Toyosu Market and a unique variety of Japanese Wagyu, which is masterfully seared tableside on a hot rock.

Overall the best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance. The food is ok for the price but the most annoying thing was being pushed to order our entire meal at once and the server was very pushy about us ordering an entree. We tried to explain we only wanted apps and sushi as a meal but it almost seemed like there’s some sort of protocol about ordering something from the entree menu that waiters are pushed to adhere to. Overall our experience was fine, I just didn’t expect pressure like that in a fine dining setting.

The best meal my husband and I have had in Dallas. We split 3 rolls and edamame between the two of us and it was plenty of food. We also loved the clarified mezcalrita, and my husband said it was the best cocktail he’s ever had. Could not recommend Catch higher!!

We were not allowed to be seated at our table until all guests were present. This is a practice of TexMex restaurants trying to turn tables and not of any fine dining establishments that I frequent. Early seating allows a host to give a credit card to the server, have wine ordered and decanted, and order hors d’oeuvres before guests arrive. Parking is not ideal. I will not return.

I celebrated my birthday with six of my girls and definitely going back. The food was delicious. Dessert was delicious 10 out of 10.

I have never dined at a restaurant with so many rules. One bag per purse stand and they ran out, no gift bags at the table, minimum ordering quantity for food. All very interesting rules for Dallas restaurant culture. The food was good and extremely fresh, but I don’t know if I would return. Felt like I was in airport security rather than a restaurant. Also recalled booking standard seating and we were put in the patio instead.

Overall food was good but team forgot the sashimi pizza and the lychee drink was inconsistent on the portion pour hence my friend and I got one.. But manager said they’ll adjust the charge on the Sashimi Pizza. I’ll definitely go back though.

First time to the Catch Dallas and was really looking forward to the trip with a few NBA Exec colleagues in town but we may have had the worst waiter ever in regards to service. Reaching over food and my face without saying excuse me, no suggestions on the menu just returning with pen and paper telling us he needs to take everything at once and not just starters, and a few other fundamental table waiting expectatios not met. Everyone else in the place was super accommodating and went over the top to make it a good evening but he’d always return and make everyone feel uncomfortable. Hosting another group next week and seriously considering canceling. Overall, on par with the other Catch restaurants around the US but set expectations low if you have Tony as a server. Thank you to the other staff members that made up for his lack of professionalism.

It was a nice environment and the service was great. Our server Max and was very attentive and helpful when our food took a while to come out.

It was so loud upstairs our group of 6 had to yell to hear each other. Couldn’t hear the waiter. The food was mediocre-highlights were the NY Strip, caesar salad, mashed potatoes and hamachi crudo. The seabass was dry and the sushi rolls were underwhelming. They forgot to bring our pasta entree until the end of the meal.
