   This place is STUNNING! Everything is beautiful and intentional. We went for my birthday and had amazing service and great recommendations on food. I have seen people complain about the plate sizes , but my partner and I can eat and we were perfectly satisfied off of 3 shared plates. ( I think some people don’t know how to order properly??) anywho we only have great things to say! Go try it!

   Small portions. Do not come hungry. They were slow and rushed a party of 5 out instead of just not taking the reservations. Not accommodating

   Overall, everything was very good. A bit noisy but as expected for an tapas bar. It is very dark though. I don’t know why most new restaurants have such a dark working environment. This place has a lot of chandeliers! Yet it is so dark. Luckily we were by the main window and the street lights helped. But back in the booths, way too dark. People used their phone’s flashlight to read the menu.

   In a place that serves tapas, where the dishes are already small, the Rib Eye we ordered had half of the pieces covered in fat, making them inedible. The waitress was very kind and changed the plate for us. When the new one arrived, half of each piece was still fat. If you know the portions are small, at least try to make them fully edible. The food is overpriced for what it is, especially the Rib Eye, as half of it was inedible. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere.

   Celebrated a dear friend’s birthday during a small layover and what an incredible experience! Ambiance, Food, Wine, and Service was all impeccable. Highly recommended

   Super undwrated, this place is AMAZING! Great food, reasonable price. But thw atmosphere and the design was incredible!

   Every single dish was outstanding. Get the Iberian Secret and the Oxtail. The salmon carpaccio was also delicious. However don't sleep on the cocktails, the bartender was crushing it the entire time. The value for what we got was excellent, a great price for an incredible dinner!

   Beautiful dining area, and the servers were pleasant and very attentive. Although I definitely recommend Catalina as a welcome alternative to the plethora of pizza and taco places around Condado, at least on the Tuesday night we spent there it was not up to par with our expectations based on reviews, and compared to other tapas restaurants in other cities. Unfortunately the dishes were mediocre at best, with the croquetas as the star offering, the octopus somewhat bland with a mushy texture, and the soup house specialty being overwhelmingly salty. The mussels were a huge disappointment, with a mealy texture and lack of taste (although the sauce was done nicely). Although there was a nice selection of wines by the bottle, the availability by the glass was extremely limited (a nice Verdejo, an OK Albarino from Argentina, and a nice Temranillo); typically wines are a wonderful feature of tapas bars, and their scarcity was perplexing. Perhaps an off night for the kitchen, but still hard to forgive.
