   super fein und typisch italienisch gegessen - 🇮🇹😍🤙🏻 weine banfi und antinori auch top preis/leistung… 🍷🥰 einziger wehrmutstropfen: wir waren im hinteren teil des restaurants und da wsrs doch sehr laut - akkustische raumoptimierung wär sicher was, was den gästen gefallen würde 😉

   Restaurants on Maui should aspire to provide the quality of service and food that you get at Cassanova. Working in the restaurant industry, it’s become disappointing to dine on Maui and Cassanova met all the marks as usual. If you’re going to go out and spend almost $200 on a family of 4 then it should be expected that the food would be quality ingredients, fresh, and not your average faire. The wait staff was very attentive and always available. Overall a fantastic dining experience and can’t wait to go back.

   Hand made pasta, made fresh daily said the radio add 😂lol, you got me! Vegetarian with seafood eating friends, we enjoyed all the bread that was given with some delicious olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. One friend had the caprese salad, which was beautiful, other friend had the special of the day with the shrimp and scallop pasta (every bite finished). I had the mushroom pasta, which was absolutely phenomenal, but what stole the show was the margarita pizza, the crust that had the best buttery garlic flavor! To die for (chefs kiss)!

   A solid dining experience for a good value. So many products are local, a lot of their fare is made on sight. A total good experience.

   If you're on Maui and want good solid Italian food without all the touristy fanciness, then Casanova's in Makawao is the place to go to. It is more a locals place then a tourist destination. The food is excellent, regardless of the dish ordered, the carbanara is classic style without green pea's, the spinach ravioli with truffle sauce is aa premiere dish. A do not miss dish is the spinachi with garlic, pine nuts and shaved parmesan, a wonderful pre dish. The corkage fee is $25, the wine list has a good selection of basic Italian wines as well as domestic, ranging from $45 to $75 a bottle. We've never had a bad meal or bad service. If you go early it is quiet but as the evening goes on and it gets more crowded it can get noisy depending on who is at the tables around you. The only complaint would be with Open Table, booked our reservation via a OT reward on the reward site. Had the reward in hand, but when it came time for it to be presented, the restaurant couldn't get it to work. They did make a valiant effort to get the reward to go through, even calling Open Table to only be told that I needed to contact Open Table and they would give me back my points and/or issue me a new reward card. Ever since Price Line took Open Table over, they have had nothing but issues with their reward system. But don't let that sway you from going to this restaurant and making the drive to Makawao from where ever you are on the Island, it will be a drive well worth it.

   Off the beaten track for tourists, Casanova’s was an excellent local location. the Meat ball appetizer was very good, and the Chicken parm was as good as any i’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent as well. no waiting for anything we needed.
