For parties of 8 or more, we offer a Large Party Prix Fixe menu: a multi-course, family-style experience which features dishes from our seasonal menu, and is the best way to dine at Canon with a larger group. This menu is priced at $72 per person (not including gratuity, tax, dessert or beverages) and the entire party must be included. Where possible, we will accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, and of course, you are welcome to add on extra dishes from our dinner menu.

Delicious food, impressive covered outdoor area that’s well-insulated and thoughtfully designed (it feels like you’re inside the restaurant and we preferred it over the actual indoor area), and friendly and knowledgeable service! Portions are small and prices are high, but it was great quality and worthwhile overall. Highly recommend for a special occasion or date night!

Our group of 7 had made reservations for 7:15 on the patio the weekend before Christmas. We arrived 30 minutes early but there was no comfortable place for us to wait for our table (bar was full and no indoor space to wait). We left and walked over to Sac Yard to have a quick drink while we waited. We walked back over to Canon at 7:15 but we were informed that our party would not be seated because the table earmarked for our party was still occupied with no signs of leaving anytime soon. We stood and waited crowded around the reservation desk for at least a half hour. No food or drinks were offered while we waited. The receptionist was not very understanding about our situation and seemed annoyed with us. They were unwilling to let the seated party at “our table” know they were holding up our reservation so we were not even clear when we would be seated. We started calling around for other reservations since we were all pretty hungry by this point and tired of standing and waiting. We were just about to leave when another table opened up inside the restaurant that could accommodate our party. Management apologized for the extensive wait and once they had us seated they took great care of us the rest of the evening. The food was delicious and our out of town family enjoyed the farm to fork focus. Our food server was very attentive and friendly and quickly diffused our “hangry” demeanor. Thank you Canon for making it right in the end.

We dropped in and had a lovely dinner of buttery halibut and fantastic cocktails. Always spot on.

Farm to Fork concepts and flavors are still well and present, however, this is the first time I would rate the service as sub-standard. Waiting an hour for roast chicken dish is not acceptable. Waitress seemed bothered the entire meal. No check-ins once food was served. Beverage service was slow to non-existent. I guess this is what you get when tip is included and chipping in an additional 4% to employee health plans is baked into the cost. Do better!

Always a great experience at Canon. It is a special treat for us and it did not disappoint. The squash small plate was the hit of the night. Delicious.

What a great dining experience. Food, drink and service were all wonderful. Nice pace for the whole meal. I am not sure how it could have been better.
