   Only 4 bites of beef in the wagyu beef curry for $30… felt like a huge ripoff. Same concept for the Amberjack ceviche. We’ve been to all of the major foodie spots in Austin and this was a very disappointing experience at what is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in town.

   Canje is literally my favorite restaurant in Austin. The food is always amazing and the staff is fabulous. A staple for sure!

   I’ve been multiple times and enjoy bringing friends and family visiting Austin here because the food and cocktails are consistently good. They were able to move my grandparents and I to a quieter section of the restaurant and were extremely accommodating overall. Great service and pleasant staff. It is on the pricy side ($110-130 per person), but the flavors are varied and unusual compared to other restaurants in the area.

   Everything I had was absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Austin. Will definitely be back.

   Canje is such a special place. The staff is informed and friendly and the food is exceptional. You can taste the love that goes into making it.
