Great place for food. Our group was seated on time. Staff was prompt, and corteous. Food delicious and portions are on the large size. We will return.

We were celebrating my wife's birthday and we decided to spend the night at the Rosen Shingle Creek because it's a great hotel with lots of dining choices. We didn't know that the Iowa State Cyclones were in town for the Pop-Tart Bowl and were staying at the hotel with lots of Iowa fans. We had some good conversations with them in the hotel pool and hot tub, even though we were Miami Hurricane fans. Anyway, we chose the Casa Bella because we wanted to experience something a bit upscale, and we had already experienced A Land Remembered, so it was time to try something new. Because of our early 5:30 reservation the restaurant was almost empty, but was filling up by the time we finished dinner. Service was great as we were greeted by several hosts and/or servers during the meal. We also decided to try something different, so we got the Charred Octopus, and it was good, though not something we would get again, as we generally prefer more conservative choices, such as bruschetta or meatballs, but it was surprisingly tasty and tender. So if you want to try something different it would be a good choice. We also got the Rigatoni all’ Amatriciana, which had a tasty and robust tomato sauce, but the pork cheek bacon (?) bits were a little chewy, and the Bucatini Carbonara, which had a creamy sauce, was also very good. The bread and dipping oil that comes with the meal was tasty and satisfying. We also had wine and a cocktail. We passed on dessert because we were full, but the choices looked great. The overall atmosphere was very good. Prices are a little high for Italian food, but we knew that going in. We enjoyed ourselves and had an excellent meal.

Went to dinner for four for my adult son’s bday. They seated us early and had the table decorated for a bday. Food and drinks were fantastic; not a large menu but the options are very good. Large portions and the warm bread assortment provided was delicious. Pricey $290 for four) but overall a good experience.

Great night with Chaunti! She was so helpful with the new menu and she is so friendly! Our food (salad and lasagna) was outstanding- HUGE compliments to the kitchen staff! The manager stopped by to visit and he was wonderful! Outstanding service and delicious food in a very well managed restaurant- highly recommend!

Food is delicious. Server was very good. However, there was an hour delay on food with no check in from server or manager. When I finally asked what was going on by walking to the server in kitchen expo area, i was informed there was a large party that caused a delay. The asst manager then came by and was less than helpful and did not apologize until I asked him to do so. Expect more from “hospitality”.
