Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Frühstückslokal weil wir vom Buffet unseres Hotels ziemlich enttäuscht waren. Die meisten Lokale, die wir direkt angesteuert haben waren heillos überfüllt. Also über die App gesucht, hier fündig geworden, Tisch reserviert und 10 Min später da gewesen. Zuerst dachten wir, es wäre zu, da es recht finster wirkte und die Tür nicht gleich aufging. Beim 2. Versuch standen wir in einem leeren Lokal und haben befürchtet, dass das begründet ist. Doch die Sorge war absolut unbegründet! Wir wurden mit so einer Herzlichkeit empfangen und weiter geleitet in die nicht einsehbaren Räumlichkeiten! Obwohl das zum Hotel gehörige Frühstücksbuffet bereits abgebaut wurde, konnten wir uns noch alles aussuchen und uns wurde jeder (selbst unausgesprochene) Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Es war das perfekte Beispiel für Gastlichkeit und wie man Gäste zu Freunden macht! Auch wenn das Hotel doppelt so viel kostet wie das, welches wir gebucht hatten, werden wir bei unserem nächten Budapest-Trip bestimmt zuerst hier nach einem Zimmer sehen!!!! Falls nicht als Hotelgäste, kommen wir bestimmt wieder zum Frühstück!!! Vielen Dank für diesen Höhepunkt noch direkt vor der Abreise!

How I would love to give this beautiful place of five overall! The restaurant itself has an unmatched ambience with incredible furnishings, private seatings, beautiful, lighting, and just a charming atmosphere. The food was unbelievable… The spinach croquettes with aïoli, pistachios , honey and goat cheese for appetizer, and the gnocchi with artichoke cream, sautéed mushrooms were simply unmatched. However, it seemed as if no one cared we were there! Once we arrived and were seated, no one came to our table. We had to ask for service. We had to ask for drinks. We then had to ask to place our order. no water served for the table. No bread served for the table. Once the meal was served, no one followed up to see how we were doing… We finally had to get up and ask for the bill… Twice. For an appetizer of two small croquettes and two entrées with one beer and one cocktail the total was $121… This would be fine if anyone had provided service. Would have been very glad to leave a generous tip and wonderful praise for how awesome the food and ambience were. DAVID, who did finally help us, was someone we felt sorry for… Because we think he was actually having to tend bar at the same time! For the taste of the food, we would’ve returned the next day… We just could not justify the expense given. We had to ask so many times for service. we do owe a shout out to the wonderful concierge… A lovely lady in a satin blue dress… She seemed to take care of most of all… She seated us and took our coats and was very gracious. If we had had her waiting our table, I think everything would’ve been magical!

Great experience with the drinks and three course price fixed Hungarian menu. Food was delicious and perfectly attentive wait staff.

Very nice staff and and great drinks . Unfortunately portions been very small , expensive and very very limited selection considering it was Christmas lunch and there was nothing in offer other then bar snacks

I am sorry to read your comment in which you expressed dissatisfaction as regards the dishes and prices, allow me to respond to it. Your reservation was received on December 19th, and we sent you a message on December 20th informing you of which dishes would be available on the day of your visit, attaching a link to our menu, including the prices, which are in line with the similar 5-star Hotel prices. The decision to offer a limited menu was made, due to the preparation of our Christmas Dinner!
