    Loved the food, selection and service. The table was old and gross. It was too crowded which also made it too loud.

    Everything that I tried was great. The only thing I would suggest is putting numbers over the food stations to correspond with the map. Most of the workers don't speak English and the map was a little confusing this year. The stations were well stocked and clean people were very friendly.

    Thanksgiving buffet was outstanding. Lots of choices. Food tasted great.

    The servers were outstanding. They made sure our drinks were replenished, they had great attitudes & checked on us frequently. Our reservation was for 11:30am but we arrived at 11:00am & we were seated quickly. By noon, it was very busy. The ambiance was average & the noise level was noisy which was to be expected. The biggest issue in my opinion was the food. The food was not hot, it was barely warm. The flavor was average. It was overpriced. I don’t believe it was worth the $83 per person. It would have been nice to see more items on the buffet. Not enough veggies to compliment the turkey (not talking about potatoes/sweet potatoes). The desserts were pretty tasty. We used 1 hour & 40 min of our 2 hour time limit.

    This was at least our 5th Thanksgiving at Cafe Gauguin and we always enjoy it. We met Mr Rosen the first year and we are sad to hear of his recent passing. What an amazing impact he has had on so many people! Our server was great and another server Samuel we remembered from last year and he was such a joy to interact with. The food service is great although having the sushi and steak in side rooms made us challenging to find. I also never saw any bread or rolls. Other than these things…excellent. Outside there were tons of “bow head” groups that made the walk from the parking lot a little chaotic, but they were excited to be there and participate in their competition.

    Very organized check-in. Great service from the staff. Delicious food. Fantastic Thanksgiving dinner for our family.

    Great buffet reasonably priced. Read your receipt. They add an 18% tip.

    Rude and uncaring staff dominates this buffet only restaurant. The wait staff doesn’t tell customers about made to order options like omelets In Fact my friend at a different table was told that he could t order an omelet. I asked for more coffee when the restaurant was very empty and rudely my waitress told me “when it’s done brewing”. I know why she didn’t care, her 18% tip was guaranteed since it was automatically added to my bill. I spoke with the manager on my way out and he told me that he’s actually the manager for the pool restaurant. He was nice and said he would talk to her. I went back the next day and had a similar experience

    Was slightly disappointed in the offerings for the brunch offering on Father’s Day. We’ve dined there for other significant event days and the brunch offerings were great. They really let the Father’s down with this mediocre menu. Our waiter (Jose) was not happy to be working and he didn’t mind letting his displeasure show. Next time we’ll ask more questions about the offerings when booking for significant event days.
