    Ate at Bulla last night for the first time. Food was excellent. We ate at the bar and had excellent service from Oliver and Tony. Wait staff was very helpful at picking small plates from the menu.

    The place is VERY cute, love the ambience when we walked in. We were about 20 minutes early for our reservation, and they accommodated us right way. That was very nice of them. I had two adult beverages (my guest wasn’t drinking). I had the Lemongrass Colin’s. It was a good drink, but I didn’t get much lemongrass flavor, mostly cucumber. I also had a regular (Maker’s Mark) Old Fashioned. It was delicious. For food - we had the shishitos (good, but a little bland), some cured jamón/sausage/cheese (VERY good), chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon (VERY good), the grilled octopus w/ corn puree (it was good, but kind of cold), the lamb chops w/ potato foam (delicious, the lamb was cooked perfectly), and lastly we had the chorizo with tomato sauce (good). Service - the service was pretty good. We did try to order a few other things, but we were informed they were out of those items once we tried to order them. It would have been nice to know what they were out of before we kind of had our sights set on those items. My guest and I would definitely come back and try it again. We would like to try some different things we didn’t try this time, and some of the dishes that we wanted that were unavailable.

    Everything was simply great. We enjoyed several different tapas and the service was outstanding (thank you Patrick)! Would highly recommend if you are in the midtown Atlanta area.

    This review is solely about the hostess with the extreme lack of hosting. I frequent Bulla a lot and it has been a go to for breaking bread with family and friends. The food is amazing and the service is always immaculate. However, last night was the first time I felt unwelcome. The hostess seemed irritated and walked us upstairs and the noise level was extremely high. When I asked about possible different seating, she said that they were full downstairs even though we had walked past several open tables. I said okay and asked if I could have a napkin to wipe the dirty table off and she completely blatantly ignored me and walked away. Not to mention as we walked upstairs, there was the smell of old, dirty dish water. The food was good as always but the lack of hosting or knowing how to warmly welcome guests really tainted the evening

    The food was delicious, but service was not great. I felt rushed like he was trying to get us to leave so he can seat another table.

    Amazing place! Loved that the menu is divided between tapas and main dishes. Can get a little pricey if you want to try lots of the tapas but what I tried was really good and the braised ribs delicious!

    Bulla never disappoints food and service wise. Tonight the music seemed louder than usual especially for an early 6pm meal.
