The food was ok. My date said she would have preferred Olive Garden which is strange.

We were visiting the orlando theme parks for my wife’s birthday and booked a kitchen table here because we thought the Italian family theme would be fun. I confirmed my reservation on open table and again by phone and then the day of or reservation received a call saying 8:30p was too late for that table due to liability issues. I asked if there was anything that could be done to make the bday memorable and was told the servers would sing and we would be sat at a semi private table. None of that happened. I also said i specifically wanted to order the lasagna because that’s what my wife wanted and why we were coming here. I was assured it would be available but it wasn’t when we arrived. The server offered a baked rigatoni and said it was the same, just different pasta but she never mentioned it had really spicy sausage mixed in the sauce. In summary. The place was empty, nothing that was advertised, reserved, or confirmed by phone was actually delivered. I regret reserving a birthday here, it was underwhelming at best

My experience for dinner was wonderful. Kudos to James the general manager. He was extraordinary.. our server. Alan was the best of the best I will definitely be returning.

Tenía un cupón que me envió el local y el mozo nos aseguró que el alcohol entraba en el descuento…al momento de pagar, nos dice que el alcohol no entraba, por lo que tuvimos que comprar bebidas demás (que no queríamos) para aplicar el cupón.

Very good food. We were disappointed they were out of the meatballs for the spaghetti. One other issue is we ordered a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on half and black olives on the other half. It came out half mushroom and black olives on one side and half pepperoni. We sent it back and the second version was all pepperoni but still mushrooms and black olives on one side. We gave up and kept it. The pene ala vodka was great as was the bread and antipasta salad.

Delicious Italian food served family style with great service! Zac is an excellent server! Fast, efficient, and friendly. Eclectic decor and relaxed atmosphere.

Our waiter, Cory, was very pleasant. But all of the food came and my son’s was missing. He said it was almost done. After watching him walk around and serve other table for 10 minutes he came back and said “it gets congealed under the heat lamp so I’m having them make it fresh”. Ok…15 minutes later after that my son finally gets his child’s portion of fettuccini Alfredo and it was disgusting! Our salads were DELICIOUS but our pasta was old, wiry, and the meatballs weren’t even hot. The others we were with got chicken Parmesan and it was BURNT. The restaurant was not busy at all. For $60 (including a $20 off coupon) just for my family, it even took 20-25 minutes to get then pay our bill. Very disappointed in many areas.

We came after receiving an email from Buca, saying their Amore menu special had been restarted and was going through the end of the year. When we informed the waiter that was what we were ordering, he said they were no longer doing it and verified it with the manager. After showing him the email he went to talk to the manager again about it again. In the meantime, we were discussing where else to go for dinner, just on principle, since it appeared to be a BAIT AND SWITCH. When the waiter returned, he said the manager was going to make a one time exception and give us the Amore price, so we stayed. This wasn’t the first time that we came to this particular Buca and had a problem. The food was very good, although the Chicken Parmigiana portion was small (this wasn’t the first time we got this from the Amore menu, so we knew what to expect). Our waiter was working tables in both the dinning room and the bar area, so he couldn’t be as attentive as we would have liked. He had a professional appearance and demeanor, although when he came to collect the bill after we paid, he didn’t say thank you or anything, he just grabbed it, despite having been tipped 40% (we tipped that much because the Amore deal is so good). Overall, we appreciated that the manager made things right regarding the very clear email, but we shouldn’t have had to fight to get it to begin with when it’s an advertised special. If the manager hadn’t done that, I don’t think we would ever had returned. He probably saved our future business. Also, it appears that this Buca no longer participates in the Southwest Rapid Rewards program, which is disappointing.
