Ordered a $37 sirloin and was worse than any sirloin you would get from Texas roadhouse or Longhorn steakhouse for half as much. It was actually cooked well and seasoned well but the cut of meat was very chewy and I felt like I had just put a quarter in a bubblegum machine. Our server was incredible. I didn’t run out of water one time. She was very helpful and on top of things. We were there to celebrate my wife’s grandmother‘s 82nd birthday, and her steak was chewy and my wife’s ribeye was full of gristle. We went here to spoil her and instead, our steaks were mediocre at best for the price. I don’t think it was the chef’s fault as he can only do what he can with what he has but someone definitely needs to be looking for a new provider for your meat. Loaded baked potato was so-so. Cheap cheese that felt like wax and potato could’ve been cooked much better. Felt like they were put in a microwave. Brussels sprouts were incredible. My son said the mashed potatoes were good. His kids steak was better than mine. I should’ve ordered from the kids meal, I guess. Scallops were actually cooked well and had a decent sear. They melted in your mouth as they should. Chocolate mousse cake was very well done. Not too rich. Didn’t feel too heavy or make you sick. Not trying to be mean just as honest as I can. I’ve eaten much better meals for much less money. I’ve also eaten more expensive meals that were much better. If you’re going to charge that kind of money for a steak, you better have the cut of meat to back it up.

We had such a great experience at Brooklyn & The Butcher! The prime ribeye with black truffle butter was amazing. The service was amazing and the restaurant is cozy.

This has been our second time and had the same experience both times. Overall, the food is good, especially the steaks. The Servers are on their game but are busy trying to compensate for the rest of the Restaurant and Bar which were slow. Our server was excellent and did her best and our tip reflected their service. Thank you! The bar was understaffed and inexperienced by not knowing basic cocktails like a dirty martini or manhattan. The red wines were served "chilled'. Bottom line, you will eventually have a good meal and the atmosphere is excellent for a romantic evening. Just understand that you will be drinking less than desired cocktails while waiting.

We used to love coming to Brooklyn and the Butcher, but the last few times we’ve been have been disappointing. The quality of the food is not what it used to be. When we dined last night, the lobster in the lobster cargot was so rubbery it was almost inedible. The charcuterie was delicious, but it was placed on the table with no explanation of what kind of meats and cheeses were being served. Lastly, when the main courses finally arrived (after an hour and 15 minutes after ordering), they were cold. When you pay $75 a steak and market price for a tomahawk, having them served hot would be ideal.

Went for our 57 wedding anniversary. It was a very pleasant experience. Our table attendant was extremely attentive. Our food was brought in a timely manner and it was well prepared. I would highly recommend. Grateful we have something in southern Indiana of this quality so we don't always have to cross the river.

Waited 45 min for dinner after ordering. Food had definitely sat under a warming lamp for some time before being served. Flies in a dining area this time of year indicates a cleanliness issue in the kitchen
