   Alot of our foods csme out cold. While it got fixed, others were done eating when the food came back out.

   We ordered appetizers and salads at the same time. Although the appetizers tasted great and came out timely, we waited over an hour to get the salads. Neither the server or the manager came to talk to us, until we asked what the status was of our food. And even after that, we still waited. We canceled the order, and they decided to "bag" our salads since we needed to leave. When we finally decided to eat our salads, they did not even include utensils or napkins!

   We had a very pleasant experience, from the time we were greeted by the hostess, to our table. Our server was prompt and attentive to our needs. The prices were in line for the food and service provided. Will definitely come back.

   While on an annual trip with my sister and daughters-in-law we decided to give Brix a try as we had never eaten there. Weeks prior, reservations were made and secured with a credit card. When we arrived on a Sunday night our party of five were taken directly to our table. The table had adequate room but with wine, wine glasses, water glasses, plates etc, the space was tight. We were also right next to the curtained entrance to the kitchen where it was busy with staff buzzing in and out. The food was on point. We all shared tempura green beans and truffle fries which were delightful. I had the scallops, which were cooked perfectly. My sister the fried chicken which I sampled and it was tender and flavorful with a great crisp skin. The others had steaks. All were very happy with their meals. Our server was attentive, humorous without being invasive. Had we been seated away from the kitchen at a larger table the rating would have been excellent.

   We greatly enjoy Sunday lunch or brunch each week at a variety of Napa and Sonoma restaurants and Brix is near the top of our list. Today they exceeded expectations. Dungeness crab fondue was an outstanding starter and another starter, Brix steak tartare was an amazing main. Service by Carol was exceptional.

    We've been coming here for years and it seems to be going downhill. The food was not what it used to be. Many of the customers were loud and cussing around the restaurant. The hostess forgot about us in the lounge and didn't seat us until 25 minutes after our reservation time and we had even showed up 20 mins early. The restaurant was about half full at 7pm.
