BONDST, located at 20 Hudson Yards, is the first ever expansion of the trendy downtown restaurant with a warm minimalist interior design. The cuisine is new Japanese with European and Asian influences.

The original BONDST is Citysearch's 2007 and 2008 audience award winner for Best Sushi in NYC, as well as the 2008 audience award winner for Best Martini in NYC.

    We had an incredible experience tonight at Bond ST that motivated me to write a review. Walked in on time but my wife was running late, I had a tough day and wanted to sit and the manager didn't hesitate to sit me, I really liked that and appreciated the time to relax. Wife arrived, we each had a drink and the ordering started. Waiter was knowledgable and excellent, humble, personable and good Jon helping with the order. We had the tuna pizza, crispy rice tuna and wagyu skirt steak. The meat was bursting with delicious flavors and perfect, WOW did the tunas deliver a great portion and just perfect taste. We also had some tacos which I would never order but were on par with excellence. pace of service perfect , patience throughout by staff, great attention , and we finished with some sushi that was just fantastic. oh wait, the dessert also just bread pudding beautiful. hats off, great job, appreciate that experience.

    We enjoyed our meal however the spicy tuna roll and crispy tuna were outstanding.

    Bond St. is at least as fabulous as you may imagine. The wagyu carpaccio and the big eye tuna tarts were the best bites I’ve had. Full stop. Just know that Open Table is high if it thinks you can get in and out of there for $30-50. We were in excess of $300 per person. Worth it? Absolutely. The staff (Jonah was ours) are very learned and steered us right. Will be back.

    BONDST food was absolutely delicious, we ordered miso soup, the big eye tuna tarts, crispy rice spicy tuna, toro toro roll, & salmon avocado roll. While I thought this was quite a lot to order, do keep in mind portions are going to be smaller than you think. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the portions in the miso and tuna tarts AND crispy rice spicy tuna. They also gave us edamame on the house which was great too! All in all it was about $120 per person which I was not expecting but for a nice sushi dinner in NYC, that’s probably about right price wise. I would definitely come back, but don’t expect it to be an affordable meal. Service was good too, no complaints. Very attentive staff and host gave us the recommendation of the tuna tarts which ended up being the favorite thing we got.

    Absolutely fantastic. Among arriving they said welcome back which was very nice. Delicious rice cake appetizer with some sort of green dip. Tuna tarts was amazing - miso seabass incredible - scallop jalapeño roll fantastic. Overall can’t wait to come back.

    Upon arrival to our reservation we were told we would have to wait for a long time to get a table because the restaurant was overbooked and didn't honor our reservation. It was incredibly frustrating as it took 30mins to get to the restaurant and then we didn't have a table even though we had a reservation. Unprofessionally managed.
