Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

Don’t know where to start. The restaurant is gorgeous and spotlessly clean and inviting. The staff were brilliant so polite and attentive. The food was the best Iv had in a long time and I can’t wait to go back!

Have been to Bombay Delight with guest on several occasions. Both guest and myself have Enjoyed the whole experience including the delicious food and the attention given to us by staff. The restaurant is a delight with great attention to the comfort and ambience for diners. Would strongly recommend.

I was attracted to try this place because of the good reviews and the design of the restaurant (it didn’t just look like a takeaway place with tables added nor did it have that old fashioned white table cloth thing going on that so many Indian restaurants have - ick) and the food was good as was the service, the ambiance was a little daytime-ey even though we dined at 8:45. Bright lighting lots of families which detracted from the mood a bit. But the curry was tasty fresh and spicy. Margaritas weren’t the best but perfectly good.
