   This is the first time that the service was terrible, we waited for a while I finally flagged the manager to see if we had a server.

   I recently dined at Blanco Mexican Cantina in Oak Brook, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The vibrant atmosphere instantly drew me in—colorful décor, lively music, and a welcoming vibe that made the evening feel special. The food was nothing short of amazing! Every dish was packed with bold, authentic flavors. The guacamole, made fresh at our table, was creamy and perfectly seasoned. The street tacos were a highlight—tender, flavorful, and served with delicious house-made tortillas. And let’s not forget the margaritas! They were expertly crafted, refreshing, and had just the right kick. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. Whether you're looking for a fun night out with friends, a festive happy hour, or a delicious dinner, Blanco Mexican Cantina delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend for anyone craving incredible Mexican cuisine in a lively, upbeat setting.

   Could be better with checking in guests…went there late Saturday night…and had to wait despite many open tables.

   Although there were multiple bartenders behind the bar, the service was slow to get a drink. They tended to gather and talk amongst themselves vs checking on the guests. We would have stayed at the bar for another drink but it was just too slow. Who they gave chips and salsa to at the bar was not consistent - and noticeable. The service at the table was VERY good - friendly, prompt, provided suggestion. The beef tacos were so good, as was the guacamole. Unsure if I’ll return. This was my second time, and both times the bar staff was either not friendly or slow, actually more like were ignored. I tend to make excuses for service at restaurants as I understand what they go through, but this was so noticeable I almost asked to speak to the manager to make they were aware.

   The seating is very uncomfortable if you done get a booth. The French toast which was my husband’s favorite item on the menu, has quickly fallen to the bottom of his list. Over the past several months that we’ve been going here consistently it seems the French Toast has been dryer and dryer with each visit. Not sure if we’re going to be as regular here as a result.

   Great customer service. Greeted so well by the front desk. Margaritas were excellent. Had Jalapeño & Pineapple and the Spicy Skinny margs🍸. Dinner was delicious. 👌 Ordered Cheese Crisps Roasted Poblano Chile & Tomato and Vegetarian Carmalized Sweet Potato enchiladas. Got seated on time at our reserved time. Our server Ondreaonna was courteous. Highly recommended.

   The restaurant was out of Mahi and black beans. Service was slow, though the restaurant was not crowded. Food was only okay for the prices. Same with the cocktails. The ambiance is pretty. There is a TV at the bar, but they were showing an old movie and not any March Madness games.
