Parking in the Tenderloin is very limited. Our patrons are strongly encouraged to use public transportation or any number of the ride share services offered in the city. There are a number of parking garages in the area; Jam Parking at 155 Eddy, EZ Public Parking at 333 Jones, and California Parking Inc. at 199 Turk being the closest three.

We are centrally located within 3 blocks from Civic Center BART and all Market St. muni lines, as well as the 19, 27, 31, and 38. If driving is the only option there are many parking garages in the area; Jam Parking at 155 Eddy, EZ Public Parking at 333 Jones, and California Parking Inc. at 199 Turk are the closest.

BY SUBMITTING THIS RESERVATION, YOU ARE PURCHASING TICKETS TO THE SHOW. (Tickets to the show vary for each evening $15-$45 per person. See calendar for specific ticket pricing for the event you are booking; respective price will apply.) SEATED tickets are in our VIP section with full view. BAR/ STANDARD tickets are $5-$10 less and have partial stage views. Full menu served everywhere. Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to other people. No-shows or cancellations shall be charged the full ticket price per person to the card on file. Proceeds for the tickets go to the musical act and support live music here at Black Cat. We have a two hour limit on our tables, but we are always happy to move your party to the bar area if you would like to stay longer and let the good times roll!

Music was good but a little too loud. The food was burnt. The steaks that cost &50 were overcooked and charred. Wouldn’t recommend.

The venue is great. Food tasted delicious but temperature was not hot upon arrival. Service was poor long wait times for food and drinks then they charge a 20% service fee to help pay servers, which I personally believe is the establishment’s responsibility and shouldn’t be deferred to patrons. Especially when waitress spends more time sitting down talking to her friend then checking on her tables. Had to flag her down to order food, refill on water, and get the check.

We booked a table for 5 for Saturday night - reservations on Thursday. It was a special occasion for my adult son who is moving to London and my 85 year old parents weee to join (my dad is a long-time jazz lover who played in a band) On Friday. we got the news my uncle passed (my mom’s brother). As you can imagine, my parents were not able to join). We called and emailed repeatedly to notify the restaurant (I think I tried more than 10 times) never got a return phone call or email even though I followed the protocol. We paid more than $250 for the table before the evening started. When we arrived at our reservation time on Sat no one acknowledged the contact we made. We weee told sorry no refunds and swiftly taken to our table. After another $260 in mediocre food and even more pedestrian drinks, we were herded out like cattle after the one hour set was over. I tried once more to talk to the manager on the way out. He said sorry no refunds even under the heartbreaking circumstances of my parents!. It is not about the $100 but more the principle of the matter.I have a masters in hotel and restaurant management and have 30 years in hospitality. I give this a negative 10 rating. The lack of response and empathy is unconscionable. Total rip off. Don’t waste your money.

I was familiar with the group the was playing that nite got there early and had to wait for the next show.Aaron the bartender was very polite and accommodating and had us preorder our meal do it would arrive during the performance perfect!!!Jason the floor manager was polite and got us great seats near the stage all in all it was a fantastic nite and yes I love the venue ...

Black Cat is nothing less than amazing. My girlfriend and I took a 10 day trip up the coast from LA stopping here and there along the way. SF was our last destination and Black Cat was our last night. We will never forget that evening. It was the classiest, most romantic, great sounding and memorable experience of our entire trip. The stars were aligned that evening, and the jazz notes were just as beautiful.
