    Wir waren gestern Abend hier und mussten heute gleich noch einmal gehen. Sehr freundlich, lecker, schnell- sehr gerne wieder!!!

    First the good - The large, deep-dish, cheese pizza w/onions (extra sauce, extra cheese) was DELICIOUS! Our Servers (Not sure of the name, Karley?- it was a guy w/dark hair; also, a female w/glasses that covered for him while he was on break) were BOTH, EXCEPTIONAL!!! We arrived about 7PM and it was still busy because the World Series was just wrapping up. The NOT SO GOOD part is that it has been over 6 months since we last visited this HB location and the time that it takes a pizza (30 MINUTES!!!) to arrive at our table is STILL NOT acceptable. Don't know what the holdup is as this is supposed to be their FLAGSHIP store since it is walking distance to their Corporate offices. Had the Server check status, TWICE and the mgr walked by and asked how things were and I asked him to ALSO check on our pizza. Thus, would ONLY reco going to this place IF you have a LOT of time to wait! I was seated where I could see the Servers coming out of the kitchen and almost NO FOOD was delivered during that 30 min block! This is sad because we would like to enjoy their food again, but it appears that something is off at this location, specifically, as we don't encounter this issue at their other locations (Carlsbad, etc.). NOTE TO CORPORATE: PLEASE get some NEW baking equipment and re-look at your Ops there. It should NEVER take almost 30 min to get a SIMPLE pizza!

    It took a really long time to get the food out and some of our group had a wait until others were 1/2 way through their meal. Some of the food came out cold. They were not great on timing.

    We had a 5:30 reservation. We waited a bit for the table to be ready, which was fine. What was NOT fine was that after we ordered, it took over an hour for our food to be served. In my 54 years of dining out, this was the longest I have ever waited for a meal. The waitstaff & manager were sympathetic & adjusted the bill accordingly, but I consider this an epic fail. The food was delicious but I don’t think we’ll be going back to this location.

    Waiter was great, but too busy. One of the plates came out with really rare meat and by the time it was corrected everyone else was just about done eating. He was as attentive as he could be, but we were out on the patio and he was handling 3 tables and 2 large parties. There should’ve been someone to assist. We almost didn’t make our event on time and we gave ourselves 2 hours with the reservation.

    I ate at the same BJ's about a month ago and the atmosphere was pleasant. This time, the music was so loud that we had to almost shout across the table. The tri tip was a little dry. The asparagus was over salted, like last time. Maybe the chef could leave off the salt and let the customer add it as needed. Our waiter was very nice; however, there was a large table across from us that he had to serve as well, so we had to ask him two times on three different requests. I think he was a little overwhelmed.

    We took our 100 yr old grandmother to dinner and had a great dinner. However, we had to wait for our food a little too long & asked our waitress if it was coming soon; She reassured us it was and it was delivered not too long afterwards. The four of us enjoyed our meals & the delicious Pizookie!
